Thanks to P Michael OBeirne for the inspiration. We previously overlooked how important a spoon can be in our carry. Not only can it be used for the obv purpose of eating and preparing hot drinks, but also as a lightweight pry (to safeguard a blade edge) or, dependant upon the type of spoon carried, a window breaker. I think moving forward we should give our eating utensils a little more face time.

RIP LE Pioneer Alox 2015-2020.
Victorinox have confirmed that there will not be a LE Alox Pioneer nor Cadet in 2021 😢

Very disappointed with the Victorinox decision to not release the LE Pioneer and Cadet this year. This will terminate the ongoing annual collection of the Loyal Alox Collectors. If you feel the same, head over to the Victorinox page and share your thoughts.

At the time I thought that the crenellated bezel was bad ass, and I still do today. This has been part of my regular carry for over 20 years now. They're not cheap, but it is a light which you will love to use and carry. Just check out the specs they speak for themselves.

Sa-Ti-day Carry. Super stoked this week, with two new arrivals: Böker bolt action Ti Pen and Olight World I5T EOS Ti. These new additions pair beautifully with the Hennie Haines Penfold 'folder' and Lynch Northwest 3.5 AAP Pry. Thanks again to MrMrUK for the custom Ti Hank. I think this is my favourite EDC right now, this is going to take some beating. Each of the items chosen for their function and carryabilty.

This week I’ll be mostly carrying a Hallowe’en themed carry - Loving my Fatman Hanks Spider handkerchief which I’ve been saving for this week, grouped with my UK Very Limited Edition ‘Halloween Olight World I5T’, Boker knives Slipjoint folder and Lynch Northwest AAP 3.5.

I’ve started to really love the beads on my PullCords / Lanyards, So I made these two orange ones as a sort of trial for Halloween 🙂 Have a spooky Halloween! 🎃 👻

Today’s Carry - Loving the patina on my Olight S1R Baton II and hoping that the copper scales on my Ge**er Flatiron will develop an equally satisfying patina. This is one of my favourtie hanks :)

Today is a great day! Finally managed to find a stunning limited edition Alox Pioneer ‘Livanto’. The product of groundbreaking collaboration between Victorinox and Nespresso. 24 aluminium Nespresso pods are recycled to make each set of scales. This knife was a 2017 limited edition and I’ve seen some switch hands for crazy prices. This was bought at a great price BNIB from a seller who I don’t think realised how limited they are. He got a good price, so no issues. Today it will be carried with my Olight Perun, Lynch Northwest AAP 3.5 stonewashed pry and Not your Norm Hank :) Have a great day 🍊

Today’s Carry! Only fair having received our AA copper Maratac V6 flashlight today that we pair it up with some ‘Copper Brothers’ as part of todays carry. The patina needs some work, but regular handling will square that away. Today our new flashlight has good pocket fellows: Copper Yeti Tumbler, Ge**er FlatIron (with Flytanium copper scale upgrade), our T&P combined boxcutter/pry and (love 'em or hate 'em) our Blood moon copper EDC Coin (why... because it makes us smile :) ) Show us your favourite copper item in the comments below:

Mailcall! 📦 - Cu Cu Ca Choo! Delighted today to receive our AA Copper Flashlight by Maratac (Revision 6) from CountyComm. It took a little while to get delivered 'across the pond' to Europe from the US of A and it was a little pricey (not only postage). It's a solid build, gives of great light. The flashlight has 3 modes - Using A Single Duracell AA battery you should get the following peformance: Low Mode, 5 lumen output for 75 Hours, & Medium Mode, 45 lumen output for 4.5 Hours, & High Mode, 245 lumen output for 75 Minutes. We like flashlights which take batteries which are always readily available. We believe that this is a solid flashlight, and will be part of our Copper EDC Today 🙂 Njoi!

Today’s Carry - Our new LNW AAP 3.5 partners with our Hennie Haynes Penfold Ti folder beautifully! The AAP 3.5 has a great stonewashed feeling, which compliments the 'satin' finish of the Penfold. Today is a good day!

What can we say... We are delighted to have our own AAP 3.5 crafted and personally delivered by Casey at LNW. We love the weight, the feel and the craftmanship. Some of the forums / pages have commented that they are pricey, maybe, but, it's a quality item and Casey can't keep them on the shelves long enough there is such demand. We love ours.

We've discussed it, and we would like to see casey produce the same product which is 50% bigger allround (length, width and thickness). We don't think it would be a problem to shift these for LNW.

I am loving the simple design of this beautiful Titanium folder. It has clean lines and an amazing finish. Given that it is a slip-joint knife with an appropriate length blade I’d be happy to consider it as UK Legal (pls check your local laws before carrying).
