After a rejuvenating pitstop at Jaigad Jetty, we were set to leave for Ganpatipule, a mere 19 km journey, taking just 30-40 minutes. But first, we had to capture these tanned, happy faces before meeting Ganpati Bappa .

We made our first stop at a charming village on our way to Agardana jetty. The village was incredibly picturesque, with its traditional houses and a magnificent mango tree that provided much-needed shade on our sunny journey. I have captured a few pictures to share with you 'sBeauty

"Exploring the stunning coast of Maharashtra"
Started our journey from Mumbai and traveled through charming villages, winding roads, and endless fields. While we initially considered the possibility of utilizing the (RORO) service, but it was already at its maximum capacity for accommodating motorcycles, and the timing was not ideal for our schedule. Another alternative was, taking a ferry from Bhau Cha Dhakka to Alibaug but we were unsure if it would be feasible, which made us hesitant. So we opted a scenic route and rode towards our 1st ferry from Agardana to dighe.

Kedarnath

07/12/2022

This Sadhu grabbed my attention while exploring around the temple. You will always find him involved in all the temple rituals and aarti.
At night, i found him surrounded by many people, sitting around the campfire listening to his stories. IT was an intresting session.
While leaving for base from Kedarnath, i went back to meet him, he gave me Rudraksham and blessed me for my return journey. ๐Ÿ™

Ending up my thank you series by thanking .il76 bhaiya a passionate biker, whom i met for the first time in udaipur, while coming back to Mumbai from my uttarakhand ride, his contact was shared to me by my friends for any help in udaipur,
I was bit confused about going ahead or staying back in udaipur as it was already dark. He strongly suggested me to stay back for the night as there were lots of diversions with no good hotels on the way, he even invited me at his place for coffee, the whole family was so humble and welcoming and were not allowing me to go to any hotel, insisting me to stay at their place as i had not done any bookings. Dint feel like it was my 1st time i am meeting them, Ashish bhai managed to source me a room and drop me at udaipur zostel. I am so glad to be part of such wonderful biking brotherhood, thank you each and everyone who helped me in the whole journey im some or the other way

One of the best thing of solo travelling is that you get an opportunity to make new friends. Some last forever, whereas some give you the best memories in a short span of time.

As i reached Rishikesh, a good friend of mine .kanade insisted me to meet his friend. As per him, he was the correct person to guide me with my further journey towards Kedarnath. We met, exchanged our travel stories, discussed the journey towards kadarnath, He took me to some unexplored location of Rishikesh and to some local food joints.
Next morning, i continued my journey towards Kedarnath. After returning back to base everything was so crowded, due to Dussehra and long weekend. There was no single hotel vacant. After 26 kms of trek i had no strength left to ride down to other place to search for rooms.
The only person came in my mind was Deepak. I called immediately and told him the entire scenario. Within an hour Deepak managed to find me a guest house for the night.

Thankyou .traveller It would have not been posible without your help.
Thankyou .kanade for introducing me to .traveller

I Had always heard stories about Chacha Chachi dhaba, but never thought i would be one experiencing it. We were late to leave towards Chandratal from Manali (the mistake you should never do) and we faced some breakdowns on this desolate way, towardsChandratal. By the time we reached Chhatru, it was already 5.pm and there is no human habitation for another 31 kms, so we had to rush.
With the sunset, temperature started dropping rapidly. some of us had already started giving up with this terrian & climate, but we had a long way to go. Finally, we saw a light far away, it was chacha chachi dhaba. Mr. Dorge(chacha) served us hot food and boosted us with his inspiring stories and humour.
Even though, Chandratal was just 14 kms ahead, he suggested us to stay back, as there were 2 water crossing with freezing temperature outside. We stayed in igloo shaped hut provided by Mr. Dorge and started our journey next morning.
Thank you Chacha & Chachi for being our savior for the night โค๏ธ

Day 8 enroute Dhankar

Timeline photos 07/05/2020

It was 7th day of our journey and we had covered approx 2000 km, finally the wait was over, this is what i always dreamt of, I had never seen snow until now, even if it was far away, but the excitement was on another level, we had left hot and polluted climate far behind and this was the complete opposite climate what I had ever seen in my life,
A land of Blue skies, deep valleys, soaring peaks, SNOWCAPPED MOUNTAINS syncretic culture.

Chitkul- The Last Village Of India, it is a small village near Indo - China border in Sangla Valley of Kinnaur District, Himachal Pradesh. Chitkul is also knows as the place in India which has the Cleanest Air in India.

This picture was clicked in Chitkul, Behind those snow-capped mountains is China.

As it was my 1st big ride, i wanted to ride it to and fro and didnot wanted to ship the bikes up north, we chosed to start my ride from Mumbai itself.

In these 24 day's i rode across 8 states covering 6700+ km.

The journey was a turning point of my riding scene.
This ride helped me in learning many things throughout the journey. How to ride in toughest terrain or in tough climates and how to fix my bike if things went wrong, as we 3 were our own backup.

Apart from the bad road conditions, freezing cold watercrosses and high altitude passes which i was mentally prepared to ride in, i got to ride in d heavy rains due to the strom Vayu , Sand strom in the valley of Nubra , landslides , cloud burst in Jammu which made it all look like we starring in some action film. The Thrill was on another level Full of Mixed emotion. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค’๐Ÿ’ƒ
And this is how I completed one of my ride from my Bucket list โค๏ธ
