Beautiful sunset this evening, both Shepherds and Sailors delight here on Stronsay ~ When we see a red sky at night, this means that the setting sun is sending its light through a high concentration of dust particles. This usually indicates high pressure and stable air coming in from the west. Basically good weather will follow…….. Let’s hope it’s true 😍

This hand crocheted Lap Blanket was inspired by the Orkney waters edge during our autumnal months. The stunning fusion of colours as the waves foam and lap the beautiful shores in the Bay. This blanket was hand delivered to its new owner just before Christmas. We have been sent these pictures by the recipient of this gift and had to share them with you !! This Beautiful Bowl was commissioned for Christmas. The wood was the client’s own with sentimental links. Lee’s rustic design kept as much of the the stunning bark as possible and the polished inside reflected the sheer beauty of nature. This piece is now residing in Skye along with the fun family memories preserved in the wood 😍

These include the infamous Groatie Buckie’s, Pelican Foot & Canoe Shells together with an array of opaque sea glass and beautiful coral. This pen is designed and hand crafted by Lee Hall from acrylic block. It has been lathe turned and highly polished by hand with Gun Metal coloured fittings.
This is a split barrel design that fits naturally in the hand with a twist action mechanism to retract the nib. Replacement inserts can be purchased.
