Our expert guide will offer a modern tour of each quarter of the Old City: The Jewish Quarter, Christian Quarter, Muslim Quarter, and the Armenian Quarter. We will learn about the Western Wall of Solomon’s Temple, the Dome of the Rock, the Temple Mount, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Western Wall Temple (among others).
We will learn about the Temple and see the site which the miracle of Chanukah occurred.
Then, visit the ancient city of Bethlehem and see the sites relevant to Christmas, including the Church of the Nativity.

Take a virtual tour of the French Impressionism Art Collection found at the National Gallery of Art. Your guide Meghan will point out her favorite Impressionism Artists as she takes you through the different key artists in this dynamic modern art movement. You will enjoy seeing several Claude Monet, post-impressionism, and learn what defines impressionism art. We will start the tour by taking a look at the iconic sculpture Little Dancer before moving into the National Gallery of Art Impressionism Exhibit Hall.
The work that emerged from these rogue painters was infused with lightness, energy, informality, and authenticity. Why? Because these artists of French Impressionism painted En Plein Air: they went out into the landscapes from which they were working to observe and paint the changing light and colors in real-time. Hello, my name is Meghan Hanson, I’m looking forward to being your next tour guide. I started out my career with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in Anthropology focusing on Museum Studies and complimenting it with an Art History minor. I spent a few years as the Guest Services Coordinator for the Frank Lloyd Wright Robie House in Chicago IL. It was there that I was able to truly experience the interplay between life and art.
I love looking at what art says about the life we live, the life we hope for, and the life we try to hide. Since becoming a Certified International Tour Director that lesson has informed my commentary no matter what venue or city I am in. The Van Gogh Museum holds the world’s largest collection of Vincent van Gogh ’s paintings and drawings, plus works by many other artists including Monet, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec and more. We’ll discuss how the museum’s paintings and drawings compare and contrast with well-known items at other museums and the context of these works in Vincent’s life and legacy.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (Dutch: [March 30, 1853 - July 29, 1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In a decade, he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil pain
tings, most of which date from the last two years of his life. They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterised by bold colours and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art. He was not commercially successful, and his death at 37 came after years of mental illness, depression and poverty.
The Van Gogh Museum is a Dutch art museum dedicated to the works of Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries in the Museum Square in Amsterdam South, close to the Stedelijk Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Concertgebouw. The museum opened on 2 June 1973, and its buildings were designed by Gerrit Rietveld and Kisho Kurokawa.
The museum contains the largest collection of Van Gogh's paintings and drawings in the world. In 2017, the museum had 2.3 million visitors and was the most-visited museum in the Netherlands, and the 23rd-most-visited art museum in the world. In 2019, the Van Gogh Museum launched the Meet Vincent Van Gogh Experience, a technology-driven "immersive exhibition" on Van Gogh's life and works, which has toured globally.
