Hello and welcome! I’m Maggie - It’s always nice to know who’s behind the page, so here goes.

🐆Spending time in the African wild with animals has been my dream since childhood (Joy Adamson’s Born Free books and films were a firm favourite!) I almost can’t believe my kids (as well as grown-up me!) are actually living this dream

🤎As a yoga teacher my aim is to remind you that you of what is truly important to you; to give you a break; to help you feel grounded; to notice how we speak to ourselves in our heads; and to connect to the kindness and goodness in ourselves, so that we can be that towards others.

👧I started yoga as a kid from my mum’s books and magazines; I found my first local yoga class as a teenager and it just felt like home.

👩‍🎓As a student in London I sought out all the free/affordable classes/studio trials; the classes at my uni, King’s College with Molly Harragin, a Jivamukti Yoga teacher were my favourite; they always made me feel complete and reminded me of what is important to me

🇮🇳I completed my first 200hr training with Yogahaven based in London; following that I did a further 300hrs Jivamukti Yoga training in India; forever a student, I completed Pre- and Postnatal Yoga and various anatomy/philosophy/trainings with my other mentors, such as and Amy . I am currently supporting and completing another 200hr training with and , and loving it ♥️

👷‍♀️I worked corporate in construction for 10 years - I loved the projects, but eventually I wanted to dedicate more time to Yoga and to being a parent. I taught my first 100 classes mainly to my lovely colleagues in our offices (thank you guys!!)

👩🏻‍🏫 I worked super hard, teaching 7AM and 7PM yoga classes in London studios before and after my corporate job. I really, really loved the rich variety of the London yoga studios and miss the wonderful community of students I got to know.

🪷Since having kids and experiencing a few health issues I feel I’ve become a more compassionate teacher; I am more aware of all that goes on behind a person’s smile, and am touched by everyone doing their best despite that 🤎
