I know it's getting darker earlier these days, but staying until (or most usually PAST) sunset is a REGULAR for me... is this true for anyone else? ...I have a pretty nice view from my windows though so at least there's that!

And may it be enough... isn't that what we're all hoping: that the blood, sweat, and tears we put into our work are all worth it at the end of each day?
I hope you (and I) can go into this week remembering that our work is, in fact, *more* than worth it. We don't have to be perfect to change the lives and positively impact the futures of our students ❤️

I think sometimes we forget how important it is to talk about "taboo" things with our children.
Innocence is NOT bliss to a child (or adolescent) who is unaware of how his or her own body works.
It's time to educate our children on sexuality and 👏🏻sexual responsibility👏🏻 instead of letting ignorance reign and hurt young people as it has in the past.

I went ahead and asked THEM what rewards and consequences they would like implemented in THEIR classroom. 🗣

We agreed on a classroom Economy!💲💲💲

Thought it might be nice to grade some papers in the back yard the other day... Ya know, because when you have to bring work home with you, you might as well TRY to enjoy it right?!😅 Well needless to say Moo liked that idea too! 🥰🐶
