EDINBURGH: action against Lothian Pension Fund

ACTION 🚨

Tomorrow, Time to Divest will hold an action against Lothian Pension Fund - demanding they withdraw over £160 million worth of shares of public money in companies complicit in upholding apartheid and mass killing in Palestine.

The Time to Divest campaign will hold a demonstration outside the COSLA Conference Centre, on Tuesday 5th December, at 12:30 - whilst simultaneously holding a deputation inside the meeting of the Pension's Committee occurring inside the building.

The Pension's Committee, made up of local councillors and representatives, have a decision to make tomorrow - to continue in complicity or agree it is Time to Divest from these barbaric investments.

This is public money, being used to invest in barbarity. Inside this meeting, the Pension's Committee will hear our demands directly - whilst outside, we will make our collective voice and power unable to ignore. Join us tomorrow at COSLA Conference Centre (EH12 5BH) at 12:30 to tell Lothian Pension Fund that it is Time to Divest.
