The Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) Foundation is proud to be partnering with Mildura City Heart to stage a fabulous Cocktail Party and Fashion Parade event, the likes of which Mildura hasn’t seen!
Being held on Friday, September 8, at the fabulous new Power House Precinct, it will be an occasion not to be missed, with all proceeds raised from the event going to the Lucas Foundation.
The MBPH Foundation is proud to be continuing the legacy of the Lucas Foundation in supporting families and children under the age of 12 who need to travel to metropolitan areas for medical treatment for extended periods.
The Lucas Foundation has previously raised funds to provide comfort and assistance to residents of Sunraysia, suffering financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances or illness affecting their children.
When the MBPH Foundation was established, its aim was to align with our HEART values and to improve healthcare outcomes for the Northern Mallee. Over the past 12 months the Foundation has been making great progress and raised substantial funds, thanks to the generosity of our community.
Recently the Foundation had the pleasure of putting some of these funds to great use, providing $10,000 to two families as part of our Lucas Foundation program.
The money will help support both families as they travel to metropolitan areas to receive treatment for their sick kids.

Applications for the MBPH KC Society Tertiary Scholarship Program are now open.
The tertiary scholarships are available to students living in the Sunraysia and Northern Mallee region who are permanent Australian residents, under the age of 24 years and studying a health-related course full-time.
The MBPH Foundation is proud to introduce the scholarship program, which is supported by the KC Society in honour of the late Kevin Chambers.
