It's almost November! That means Thanksgiving is right around the corner. One of our typical Thanksgiving dinner dishes is Squash Dressing. If you have never had it you have to try it! The two most southern ingredients (yellow squash and cornbread)help to make this a fan favorite!
What is something your family requires every season?
I washed and hung the baby afghans from last night's thrift haul outside to dry. Noticing the azaleas, roses, and hydrangeas, I realized they're taking their last chances to shine before cold weather comes.
The pumpkin petal door hanger took a different direction!

Eight years ago, my daughter and I attended the Country Living Fair in Stone Mountain, GA, where we met Nancy Fuller. She was lovely, thrilled that a 19-year-old enjoyed cooking, and graciously signed her cookbook. Her butternut squash soup demo was delicious! We were starstruck eating something prepared by a TV cooking star. We're a bit quirky like that 🤭❤️. Have you had a similar experience?

Thankful God placed me alongside these powerhouse women during the pandemic. We’ve made an enduring bond of friendship, love and support that I cherish .
And today we all celebrated the answered prayers of Amber and John’s precious gift.
In Snead, Alabama, I stopped to appreciate the breathtaking view of traditional red barns, expansive fields of white cotton, and the vibrant autumn sun, showcasing the classic beauty of the South.

Today I will underline this verse in Avery Hughes Hardy’s Bible.
After a hard season of loss and infertility one of my dearest friends is getting ready to welcome her baby girl and experience love like no other💗
This is truly the goodness of God.
This is my inspiration pic for a DIY I have challenged myself to create. I will be using craft paper, stamps, and anything I already have on hand.
Do you think I can pull it off? I would love to see your DIY fall table decor!

I have several of these wire pumpkins left over from last year. Looking for unique ideas! Anyone else use this for their fall crafts? Let me see!
These are rustic pumpkin pillows I made last year. The orange doilies are from Dollar General. The linen pillows in the back are made from drop cloth and the black one in the front are two place mats glued together. All held together with hot glue! They were far from perfect but so much fun to create.
They all sold last year so I need to see what I can make this fall🍁
It feels like fall in Alabama this morning with a brisk 41 degrees! This weather makes me think about making soup🥰. What's your favorite soup recipe?
My last day was spent in San Antonio eating excellent tacos, enjoying a boat ride down the River Walk, “remembering The Alamo” and making memories with my favorite gal🥰
Round Top unique treasures. An actual hot air balloon basket ! So many lovely things❤️
I was trying to recreate the adorable posts the ladies of The Loom & Co share on their Instagram .
But as you can tell my post reflects a tired, sweaty shopped out girl 😁
But seriously check out their fabulous rugs on Instagram !
Thankful for another day❤️
Grapevine centerpiece with candle holders was a roadside find! I purchased the greenery at Tj Maxx . It’s a bundle of three faux cedar limbs that are velvet soft . I just stuck them inside the grapevine and put two glass trees from Target on the candle circle. The fairy lights are battery operated .
Total invested $20!
It’s going to look warm and cozy on my entryway table. Where would you use it?

Blue and white hydrangeas always steal the show!
Especially in white milk glass and pumpkins.
What’s your favorite color hydrangea?
