In response to Severe Tropical Storm Carina, BFP Rizal Personnel headed by SFO4 Roger C Domingo, Officer-In-Charge, conducted the following activities, to wit:
✔️ Coordinated with MDRRMO Rizal re: Implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Programs; and
✔️ Water level monitoring to low lying areas within AOR particularly at Matalag River, Brgy. Duyun, and Anagguan Bridge, Brgy. Anagguan.

BFP Rizal Personnel headed by SFO4 Roger C Domingo, Officer-In-Charge, conducted lecture on Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness at Barangay Mauanan of this municipality. Said activity was initiated by MDRRMO Rizal and was attended by Barangay Officials from Brgy. Mauanan, Gaddangao, Capacuan, Baluncanag, and Dungan.

This is in observance with the National Disaster Resilience Month 2024 which underscores the importance of disaster preparedness and enhancing public readiness in the face of natural and man-made disasters.

Twenty-one (21) members of the recently concluded Fire Basic Recruit Course 2024-127 CLASS MASID-GILAS paid a courtesy call to FCSUPT JERRY CORDERO LAMANERO, DSC, Regional Director, Bureau of Fire Protection Region 02, today at the Office of the Regional Director, BFP Regional Headquarters 2, Regional Government Center, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

FCSUPT LAMANERO welcomed and congratulated the Twenty-one (21) graduates of the FBRC 2024-127 Class MASID-GILAS who bravely underwent the rigid training from February 16, 2024 to June 27, 2024 at the National Fire Training Institute Region 05 Satellite Campus, Brgy. Taburan, Kawa-Kawa, Ligao City, Albay.

During the meeting, the Regional Director restated the goals and objectives of the organization with the intention of motivating all Fire Basic Recruit Course graduates to keep up their commitment to helping the community.

The event served as a forum for reiterating the BFP's mission and vision, which aims to motivate firefighters to keep up their diligence and commitment to serving the community.
