With all of the Olympic Excitement, we've been just a bit distracted....here are the results from the IN State Fair PV Competition. BIG THANKS again Duke Energy GEMCO Richey Athletics Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center for allowing/supporting the local fun!

State Fair “Over The Top” Street Vault 2024, Friday August 2nd and Saturday August 3rd, 2024

* THE RUNWAY / PIT LOCATION: Will be on the north side of the fairgrounds - in the Hoosier Spirit Park (West of the Farm Bureau Building) - close to the new Ferris Wheel (should be easy to spot - the giant wheel 🙂). Please see attached map and Enter through Gate-16 with your unloading permit (print out the attached form).

* TICKETS: You will receive an electronic ticket to enter the fair - emailed by Thursday afternoon - please check for the email to arrive - if you don't receive it by Friday morning email or call Tony Heath - 317-529-0939 - [email protected]).

* SCHEDULE: We will try to keep to the schedule, so be early for your group vault. If we have the opportunity to start a group early, we will. We will also encourage warm-ups of the next group prior to that group's scheduled start time.

* PARKING: PARTICIPANTS MUST PARK IN EITHER THE INFIELD OR AT THE DEAF SCHOOL PARKING LOTS after unloading. PARKING IS PROHIBITED at the Vaulting Site.

Friday August 2nd - Runway opens at 5:00PM with vaulting will start at 6:00PM.
There will be 1 Group – please see attached PDF for Groups and Estimated Start Times.

Saturday August 3rd - Runway opens at 8:30AM with vaulting will start at 9:30AM.
There will be 3 Groups – please see attached PDF for Groups and Estimated Start Times.
Please remember that these times are approximate. Please arrive early to insure you are ready to go.

**If you bring a tent, you will be required to have 40lb weights on the legs of the tent.

If you did not pay, please bring your entry fee the day of the event. All competitors will need to sign a waiver when checking in.
Those under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign.

RESULTS!

What a street vault series this year! Lots of fun, lots of sun (and some rain), and lots of athletes and their families made this summer one for the record books for Over The Top Tour! The bar has been raised, and we hope to have all of you with us again next year!

Big thanks to Richey Athletics, Duke Energy and GEMCO for helping make this year's summer series a great success!

It appears we have a window of opportunity until late afternoon when it appears the next rain storm may hit. We have decided to ‘open up the pit’ to anyone who would like to come jump. We have decided to make a ‘hard stop’ time of 3:00 in order for us to get the set-up torn down and packed up before the next rain storm, but will monitor the weather real time to adjust that target hard stop. We have no definitive idea on how to orchestrate the jumping other than to just let vaulters jump, but depending on how many vaulters show up we can possibly figure something else out. We just need to be conscious that closing the pit may happen at any time, again, depending on weather and time to get the set-up torn down.

This is our last effort to at least get some jumping in. Please join us if you can. We again apologize for this inconvenience.
