Powie Pinks All Grown Up.

I love my new strain, Powie Pink. It is my Powie Wowie Strain (Maui Wowie + Grandaddy Diesel/Purple Urkle) mixed with Mosca Seed's Baja Blast. I was most interested in inserting the Pink 2.0 of this strain for its medicinal properties, and the fact that it smells like Baja Blast doesn't hurt.

When I went to smoke it, some of the buds of the new strain smelled like pink lemonade, and I smoked sweetly. Now half the seeds came out fat and light brown. They sprout at almost 100% and grow fast.

About 1/2 the seeds, however, are black as night with tiger stripes running through it (what I would have considered the ideal seed). The black ones like to drown or die, and only about 1/3 of them sprouted using the same method I got 100% sprouts for the fat brown seeds. I will sprout and grow a half-dozen of each to see if I can isolate the Pink Lemonade-smelling sweet-smoking strain.

This season I am trying some rare or very old strains. I have 2x1980 Santa Cruz buds, qty 3x Arun Thai (don't bother looking it up, you won't find it), 1x Maui Cherry Bomb, 1x Dragon's Blood, 2x Shanti Bubba Kush, 2x Sugar Belts, that's under 12 right? lol.

It's easier than you think. Be sure to double-sew the bag to avoid leaks.

When the pollen has landed, cut the stem, and hang it to dry. When thoroughly dry, carefully pour the pollen into a mason jar (a room away from the girls and without airflow). Date and Label the jar, drop in a 61% humidity bag, and refrigerate.
