VOLVO L120H COMPACTOR, The compactor kit and L120H have been delivered to the engineering workshop to start fitting for the new conversion. This compactor will be completed before Christmas ready for work and demonstration. The photo of the model will be the finished product. We have ordered a new Volvo L150H loader and will be delivered by 19th of December, this build will begin right after the L120H conversion. Will keep everyone posted with progress.
The new compactor wheels are being welded up and the dozer blade is have the final mounting positioned, we will miss our Xmas target ☹️ but mid January looking good ! 👍👍

Puketutu job gaining momentum, the new Volvo gear performing well, the operators are very happy and comfortable. Another 6 months to go!

SELO, progressing well, decontamination now complete, well underway with the environmental controls to allow the start of the bulk earthworks, the main stormwater 1050mm line is being installed mid November. To reduce our trucking impact on the local roads we have been able to backload construction aggregates. Manukau Quarry has been really helpful in enabling this.
Progressing well, surplus topsoil all but gone, main trunk stormwater and sewer underway, excavation of the unsuitable of main gully started, some nasty stuff in there!😔. But we will sort it out.

Some of our new Volvo equipment starting to arrive at our sites. Today the new Volvo A30G dumper showed up at SELO to help strip the topsoil.

Rowan Block Stage 3b is all but finished , George and his team have done a great job, now progressing onto the roading on stage 3bi, Civil Kerb have laid down plenty of kerbs.

SELO progressing well, clearing and demolition completed, recycled crushed concrete ready for reuse, 9 ton of scrap steel recycled, we are now undertaking the environmental controls ready to start the bulk earthworks. Pipes and manholes are ordered. Now with this great weather we can get stuck in!

BULK EARTHWORKS PROJECT
Starting mid October, a 8 month project shifting lots of earth, working with the CLC and FH team, another awesome project to be involved in, will need operators to swap out with operators on Volvo EC480 excavator, Volvo A30 dumpers and Komatsu D65px-17 dozer. Long days but the machines have great aircon and radios. 😊

Hugo and his team are all set to go, and should knock out this 350m job in a couple of days!

CARBON ZERO.
We have been monitoring and collecting information and inputting this onto the Governments Carbon Emission spreadsheet, over the past two years we have banked 2880 tons of carbon credit, we are Carbon Zero! With the total of 44 diesel machines and 12 utes which are all diesel powered, we can operate a business successfully and be environmentally neutral.

We are just starting a new housing development in Gleneden, starting the clearing and demolition this week, with plans for environmental works and earthworks starting in September, we will be looking for operators for this and other projects this up coming season.

Cameron Civil were pleased to supply some our Volvo machines for Transdiesel’s Volvo day at Stevensons quarry, it was certainly a great day to look over and operate the Volvo equipment.

We started the second stage of the development of the Volvo earth compactor, this week our new Volvo L120H arrived, we have the compactor wheels ready and the design of the blade and cleaner bar system is complete, we are planning to have the compactor/loader complete by end of May 2021 with testing and trials in the new earthworks season in October.
We are bringing the comfort, fuel efficient Volvo product into a different application.
A loader that can transform into a earth compactor for the summer and then converted back to a wheel loader for the winter, ensuring full utilisation of the Volvo.

Finished the final benches and batters for Manukau Quarry high wall, Angus and Thomas did a great job completing the 24000m3 job on there own with a wide variety of Volvo machines to choose from, Another extremely happy customer, George and the team are off to Flat Bush to build another subdivision , That’s a Top Job by a Top Team.

returning to work on Covid Alert level 3 we were able to cut and fill 8500m3 of clay from the new Northside Drive Business Park site to the Cox property to enable main drainage lines to be installed, had it all completed before the rain! Plus the added benefit of removing the preload off the new building platforms.
can’t beat Volvo and Komatsu machines with GPS to get the job done. Plus great operators.

installing Precast HQ Civil Raingardens at a precast concrete site, great that Kerbing could be installed onto raingardens, very easy system to install.

Concrete crushing complete ! Four days, four great operators and the right machines. Finished, 5000tons , shifting to Downers to continue recycling concrete and hotmix millings for reuse.

POND 4 project we constructed during the winter months, was certainly a challenge but completed on time.

Helensville Wastewater Treatment Ponds. We are assisting Fulton Hogan modify one of the ponds , today we poured a 150m section of the ring beam around the pond, it has been challenging as there isn’t much room and we have weight restrictions on the access roads.
We appreciate Rick & Renee’s teams assistance in getting this done. Unfortunately we have to stop and wait for this flu to pass.
It is for the best of our country and people. Be patient.

Collindale Park 4WD Race Track, we are currently shifting 23000m3 of earth to build a race track, we have our Topcon fitted Cat 627g scraper, Komatsu D65 dozer, Volvo Ec235 excavator and Westcity’s D8 and scoop all flat out! We are well down the track to completing on time, you can’t beat top machines, top operators and GPS, I would like to thank Karl Sorenson for reaching out to us to assist in this Project.
