Humungous thanks to everyone who came to over the weekend and supported our studio's.
There was dancing, browsing, boozing, buying, chatting & much celebrating to be had. Thanks to our brilliant studio manager Rosie for organising the event and pulling together our fantastic takeover of the ground floor space (watch this space for future events).

Last night I took part in an 'In Conversation' event as part of the Bristol billboard commission that three women artists had the joy of making. Shout out to .naden
•
It was a rare treat to be able to talk about the idea's that went into our applications, work and final pieces all together chaired brilliantly by 🧡
•
As I went to see each of our billboards yesterday, i realised the underlying theme linking all was Unity.
Idea's that celebrated and highlighted our varied and shared experiences within Bristol as women today.
•
My piece 'The parish of Temple' was a collaboration with my 3.5 year old daughter Ada. Without her I wouldn't have had the idea. We collected lots of 'treasures' together from playparks, beaches, sandpits and carefully collaged them onto the painting. I wanted it to convey what comes before us and what we choose to leave behind for the next generation.
•
I'm so interested in combining motherhood with my creative work, and this subject matter will continue to be my passion. This piece is a tribute to my daughter Ada and son Evan. Thanks kids, you'll always be my inspiration. I love you 🩷
