Finding the balance between living the active lifestyle and creating, [Ep-ik] Style made its debut through hand sewing paddling pants for friends out of my home and has expanded to RTW pieces.

Kaila Jumper restock- the fabric that these jumpers are made from requires far more technical processing methods and a lot more water production, doesn’t create harmful by-products because the solvents involved are non-toxic. And, because lyocell is made in a closed-loop system, around 99.5% of the solvents are reused up to 200 times, meaning very little waste.
An update of what I’ve been up to… being 1 of 5 to be accepted into Hawaii FoundHER cohort, a business accelerator dedicated to supporting Native Hawaiian and AAPI women entrepreneurs has been so rewarding. When I first applied to this program I was actually a month deep in training at this new job. I was scheduled to work on the day I needed to present my business pitch to the Hawaii FoundHER team. 3 days before my scheduled interview, I quit the 9-5 and worked on my 10min pitch- I had no idea what I was doing! BUT I took the leap! 5 days after my presentation I received an email congratulating me on being accepted. I cried happy tears, jumped in the ocean, and gave thanks and praise! 🙏🏽 Some days I’m all in and some it gets tough- but at the end of the day it’s been definitely soooooooo amazing!!
