"Brutal Kei Playlist Cover"

A playlist cover for some brutal heavy visual kei bands a friend got me hooked on and decided to make a playlist for! The kanji translates to "brutal kei", a play on the original term, "visual kei"! Playlist here if you'd like to check it out: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3k0gEPVE5cmUeC11VeBSqH?si=9sfLi_qzRpe_rflYbrnX9A

"Lift a Sail by Yellowcard"

My favorite pop punk band, hands down. Album after album with them is an absolute banger and lyrics like these remind me why I love them so much. Sad they're gone but oh boy will I continue to blast their albums from now to forever!

"Never Stop Creating"

A bit of a good reminder to myself. I never want to stop creating and days I feel like my art isn't worth putting out there, that I just need to keep going because only I can make the art that /I/ can make. Keep creating, friends!

"Myspace Deathcore Playlist"

The piece that started my interest in graphic design! I've had this playlist for years and got sick of seeing the four album combination that Spotify always did, so I decided to change it! I thought a nice, brutal makeover featuring the classic Myspace logo would work. Stay xXBR00T4LXx!

"Petrichor"

Once again, a The 1975 piece (What can I say, they're a fantastic band!). Based off their song, "How to Draw / Petrichor", the song means quite a lot to me. It shows the growth of Matt Healy overtime and gives a general sense of hope. Originally written in a state of depression, Matty wrote "How to Draw" when he was in a place where he felt stuck and useless. Later, on they released "How to Draw / Petrichor". Petrichor is the smell of rain after a long, warm dry period, signifying his growth. The "Petrichor" part of the song is very upbeat and dance-like, as opposed to the melancholic and soft "How to Draw" part. With lyrics like "Take something and then make it brand new / Try and do anything fourteen times / Love yourself like someone you love", it gives a sense of hope that you'll not always be stuck in the same place. That pleasent smell of rain will come one day.

"Please Be Naked by The 1975"

Another The 1975 piece, ironically for one of their instrumental songs. At least to me, this song is a very peaceful one and is not so much about s*x as it is about the intimacy between people that really love each other. The song makes me feel warm and pink, which I tried to reflect on the image. Such a beautiful song for something with no lyrics. 💕

"Baltimore Rain by The Amity Affliction"

Emotional, hard-hitting lyrics as The Amity Affliction is known for. I listened to this album like crazy when it came out, and lyrics like these reminded me of why I love them so.

"Pop Punk Playlist"

Nothing says "pop punk" like a slice of pizza and a backwards hat! I made this piece after getting sick of seeing Jarrod Alonge's stretched out face as the cover for my pop punk Spotify playlist (which you can find here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/02LQzqgzOR2bXYGujBtaQs?si=0hMZ93aORSypfO0x265EWg). Stay posi 🤙

"Give Yourself a Try by The 1975"

Love this song. Simple yet effective lyrics in the chorus with a noisy, lovable guitar tone. Give yourself a try!

My Story

With a secret but never expressed love for the digital, visual part of life, I’ve always wanted to create artistic appreciation for the many bands I grew up with and any band that’s been near to me or touched me personally in some way. I always want to give music the visual compliment it deserves, with graphic work by yours truly! I specialize in design for musical artwork purposes but when it comes to graphic design, I’m willing to give any project a shot!

Here on this page, you’ll see the various works I’ve done whether they be for clients or just for my own pleasure!
