My biggest pet peeve is when makeup brands don’t have a wide enough variety of shades to match every woman’s skin tone. It’s an automatic turn off to me. Just like when I can’t stand when a clothing brand doesn’t have sizing to represent all women.

I just wanted to take a minute to remind you that you are the boss a$$ b*tch CEO of your home and just because it’s not staged perfectly and your kids aren’t all in matching Gucci outfits like all the perfectly curated mommy blogger influencers on this app… YOU are doing a damn good job and your kids are so lucky to have you.

You are the glue. You are the MVP. Pat yourself on the back. And go switch over your laundry bc if you’re like me you’ll forget and have to rewash it.. twice 😂

Just a friendly reminder as we’re approaching warmer weather… Don’t you dare miss out on precious memories with your babies this year because you’re obsessing over how your body looks in a bathing suit.

Put on the bathing suit. Get in the water. Play in the sand. Your children deserve a present + playful mama and they could literally care less if you have tummy rolls while you’re building a sand castle.

I cringe thinking of all the energy I wasted on feeling fat. I look back at all the photos I wouldn’t post from years ago (including this one🙄) because I thought I looked big and I’m like wtf was I thinking? I was so cute. I refuse to pass this f**kery down to my children!! Now mommy rocks whatever body she’s got cause she knows it fluctuating is just part of living life and it’s never less or more worthy of love. It’s always worthy. All of the time. Make sure your kids know it because it will absolutely help shape their own body image!

I spent a couple hours by the pool with a friend and it was medicine for the soul only made sweeter by a pay day notification! 💸 Thank you Seint for allowing me the freedom to choose a pool day over a cubicle! I truly love what I do!

Also- if you’ve ever thought about doing a sexy influencer photoshoot on a pool float, i assure you, there is no sexy way to pose on a duck 😂 We did laugh until we cried attempting it tho🤣🤣

I was ready to go back to toxic products but then…

Seriously, I had tried all the cleaner makeup brands and couldn’t find makeup that looked as good as my old toxic stuff. I knew it was bad for me but at least it looked good🤡

Then I started noticing beauty influencers sharing this all in one compact of makeup that looked really easy to do and looked super natural on their skin. At this point I honestly didn’t really care what was in it I just wanted to try this paint by numbers magic sorcery makeup for myself.

But get this… Turns out that the ingredients totally checked out! This cream makeup only has 11 ingredients and they all rate low and safe on the environment working group skin deep data base… if you’re not familiar, it’s a website that granola moms like myself refer to when buying cosmetics or house cleaning products.

So the rest is history… I bought the makeup, it was the easiest quickest most natural looking makeup I’ve ever tried! I was instantly obsessed and haven’t been able to shut up about it since.

And that’s how we got here… slinging compacts on the inter web teaching women how to contour their facial features and hopefully fall in love with their own unique beauty.
