Lord,
As we start a new school year, we ask that You guide our students, teachers, principals, and the DepEd family. Keep them safe and under your protective wing.
Help those in charge of our schools to create a learning environment for our children that is welcoming, safe, and encouraging. Give the administrators and staff wisdom and knowledge to make difficult decisions and allow them to be examples to those that look up to them.
Share with the teachers Your wisdom, patience, love, and gentleness as they teach and give of themselves daily to so many children. Give them energy to face the days, kindness for the broken hearted, and rest to restore their souls.
We pray that our children will grow in wisdom, stature, and in Your favor. Show them their gifts, so they can share their talents with others. And let their lights shine in joy and kindness to their peers. We hope that old friendships will be revived and new friendships are nurtured.
Peace and wisdom are Yours to give and we pray that You pour it out abundantly to all who enter our school doors.
In the name of Jesus we pray,
Amen.

Prayers and hugs for all of us preparing for the school opening tomorrow:
1. Prayer for Protection
“For the angel of the Lord is a guard; He surrounds and defends all who fear him.” Psalm 34:7
2. Prayer for Good Work Ethic:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. “ Colossians 3:23-24
MESSAGE OF LOVE
For the Opening of Classes for
School-Year 2022-2023
By Dr. Benjamin Diaz Paragas, CESO III
Director IV/Regional Director
“TO OVERCOME AND PREVAIL”
History had stood witness to that display of courage, diligence, hardwork and love, when together, we made education continue despite the raging Covid-19 pandemic. While it has not been easy, we found solace in the fact that we were able to see through because we joined hands, protected each other like family, and worked harmoniously towards common goals.
History is again about to be written. Once more, it shall stand witness to yet another exhibit of oneness of spirit, as we open the School Year 2022-2023, with stronger resolve, more determined spirit, and deeper love and care for one another, especially our beloved learners.
We are aware that the challenges of the pandemic are still lurking, awaiting another opportunity to attack. But with the rich experiences we now have, we move forward stronger, better and more courageous, ever-willing to share our brain and brawn to make things happen for our children.
We have our fair share of difficulties. There is no denying that in some aspects, we still see challenges, trying to hinder us from giving our best. But we are unmoved and unshaken. With our innate abilities, shaped by our strong faith in God, as in the past years, we shall continue to overcome and prevail!
To our dear learners, focus on your studies. We shall do the rest. You will get what you really deserve.
To my family in DepEd Region 02, let us continue to share the best version of ourselves, not only because there is a task we must do, but because it has always been natural for us to love and to care.
God bless us all!
SNHS Family warmly welcomes our new Master Teacher, Ma’am Mary Jane D. Agcaoili! 💙
