I’m flying to Varna today... ever been there? It’s a costal city in 🌊☀️🌍 I’ve been to the airport several times, but never in the city or at the beach 🏖 there... I bet it’s beautiful!

So, here we go, last picture in my great look back at my at ✈️👩🏻‍✈️✈️
It took 4️⃣ and 1️⃣5️⃣ years and countless hours of an all over our beautiful planet 🌍 until finally in 2016 I got my to the position - the left seat 💺 and the 🎉
5 years have passed since then - time is definitely ‘flying’ 😅 - and I’m really happy and thankful for the journey I had so far... still eager to learn more 🤓 and see where my path will bring me... 🤩

On yesterday’s flight to Amsterdam I had a rare pleasure: Flying with another during the final stage of her line training (the first 80 flights of a new on a new are done with a - this is part of the for every trained on a new ✈️ ) AND being part of an 🎉🙌🎉
I have to admit were more fun WITHOUT those 🙄 but as always ☝️

Welcome to the fleet Simon ✨🤗✨ Great, that you’re part of our team now!
Had the chance to fly with Simone yesterday on his 3rd flight on the fleet of - he’s been flying on the Dash fleet the last 3 years and I could tell he’s proficient already! Combined with a will and great professional attitude I’m already looking forward to flying together again soon!👌🏻
After landing we had to wait for a couple of minutes for the crewbus to pick us up, so we took the chance for a (Many thanks to the technician, who took it!! 😉)

The look in my eyes after being activated on standby duty at 5am to fly to Düsseldorf Airport in the right hand seat (instead of the first officer) on my second flight after lock down and having completed this challenge flawlessly... 💪🏻👩🏻‍✈️✈️🎉
If you’re asking, what’s the challenge!? Well, my usual seat and duty is on the left (captain‘s) seat. As a flight instructor I do train new captains from the right seat (so they can fly in their seat). But this is quite rare... I do a right seat training on the simulator every half year, but that’s been in January 😜 and using the ‚other‘ hand for all the duties feels different... and some duties are different from what I do in the left seat. And after lock down this was even more special... ☺️ Even greater is the joy of successfully managing being flexible when it comes to seating positions! 😂
