Let’s Show our Visalia College Graduates some extra love during this difficult time. Adopt a graduate...or 2, or more. Send a card, gift card, gift box/basket, snacks. Anything of your creativity to let them know we are all rooting for them. It’s a stressful time for these guys! Their life has been interrupted, they've had to move home and leave their friends unexpectedly. You don’t have to know them personally to pass on some kindness. They just have to be from Visalia originally. They can be from any college though. So to make this a success this is how it will work....
Posts:
1. One post per College Graduate
2. Start post off with “NOT ADOPTED”
3. Introduce your graduate and share a few things about them.
4. List their major.
5. Add a few pictures of your Graduate
6. Once your Graduate is adopted EDIT your post and change “not adopted” to “ADOPTED”
7. Post picture ONLY in the comments of your post with your Graduate and their gifts or goodies they receive.
To ADOPT a Graduate:
1. Comment on post “I Will Adopt this College Graduate”
2. Send a PM to the person who posted that Graduate to get Information on likes and dislikes, Amazon wish lists etc... and address of where to send things to.
Feel free to adopt any graduate whether or not they have been adopted or not. There are no limits on how many times a graduate can be adopted. So if someone has already commented adopted you can still comment and adopt them also.
Please feel free to invite friends and family to this group.
ALL NEGATIVE POSTS AND COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED.
This page is dedicated to college students who will graduate this year. Since they won't get the recognition they deserve, maybe we can show them that their effort was not in vain.
If you have a son / daughter (brother / sister, cousin / cousin, friend / friend, neighbor / neighbor etc. ) please put the image of the student, a little of their goals / achievements, name, and college of attendance. Also start the publication with the word, " not adopted / adopted." When a person communicates with you and adopts the student, change the status to " has already been adopted / adopted."
Thank you so much to everyone who shares and adopt.
