In the following case, patient had come with a complain of severe sensitivity with the upper 1st molar tooth. Patient gave a history of having severe sensitivity on having room temperature water too. Firstly, before proceeding with anything invasive, a desensitizing solution (GLUMA) was applied and on follow up of one week, the patient reported with the same complain. So, it was decided to perform a root canal treatment and make the tooth non vital. On successful completion of root canal treatment, patient was relieved with the problem and was satisfied. An all ceramic zirconia crown was placed in the end to match the esthetics.
