Hi I had a laprascopy 2 days ago to remove my left fallopian tube with an ectopic pregnancy.
I was discharged and able to come home yesterday and I've now started bleeding a little bit heavier. I was just spotting and now it's like a normal period. I'm not sure what's normal for this however.
Is this something I should call about? Or see someone about? I'm in Australia so things can be a bit different. I'm 28 year old.
Also I'm really scared to go number 2 so, how can I do this without straining? Thank you 😊
P.s I'm a bit sore where my 4 incision sites are but it's not too bad and I know this is normal. I have also been getting up and walking for a few minutes every couple of hours unless I need the toilet. I was told that was good to do.

I have lived a miserably childhood cause I'm aboy and I've been r***d alot by our neighbor when I was 9 year and gay is so rejected in our society in Sudan, and other males bullied me because I am a little bit cute, so I feel so sad but my childhood past naturally, then when I entered the high-school at 15 years I began to feel so depressed, very deep sad, and totally helplessed for awhile . But I've studied hard and I feel so happy when I was studing then the amount of joyfully and happiness began to extend untill I couldn't sleep then I began to think false, believing in errantries till I get totally mad, then my family have gone me to psychologist doctor and he said that I have Schizophrenia, I began the to take medicine I improved with some problems in sleeping, but also relapsed alot, I've been taken oleanz and sodium valporate to fourteen years and eventually I treated in the last five years, My sleeping is good there are no errantries but Ive began to feel no motivated can't do any job I've tried studying three colleges but I couldn't graduated, I try some crafts I couldn't continue I try self studying in English I improved but it still far away, my family lives in a miserable way but I couldn't do any thing to aid them or I didn't feel to help them, Iam twenty eight years old but I couldn't try to thing of marriage or make love relationship with a girl because I couldn't dare to talk to any girl, I feel can't do anything, even If I have believing on my self I pretty sure I can study and work, but I have no impatient to thus,

Hello, my 57 year old mother has been hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia 10 times in a year and each time is also septic with a few times going into septic shock. They treat her and release her with referrals but she can’t make it to these appointments without getting sick again. She’s had studies done to make sure food is going where it’s supposed to be going and it all appears normal, she’s also had a scope where they found a small hiatal hernia but nothing more. She had gastric bypass 11 years ago and feels like she is puking acid in her sleep but we’ve been told acid is highly unlikely because the gastric bypass. I’m scared I’m going to lose her and I’m out of ideas about what’s going on and we can’t get any help.

My 7 year old son had orchiopexy surgery on Tuesday. Yesterday his bottom lip swelled to maybe 3 times it’s normal size and looks like it has a huge ulcer on it. he tells me he can’t feel his lip at all which I think may be causing him to bite it which is what’s making it swollen and sore. I Tried all day to call the hospital yesterday but nobody answered and his GP said they had no appointments.
I will obviously be trying to get him seen today but in the meantime does anyone know why he can’t feel his lip? I’m thinking it could be from the ventilation mask during general anaesthetic? He also is still unable to sit up and struggling to walk so it’s not easy for me to get him somewhere

Hello,I have a very sore tummy,I feel like I'm jus filled with air in my tummy.Yesterday I noticed that I was constipated.The uncomfortablness from my tummy makes me want to throw up buh nothing comes out ..I'm no more sure what the problem is,I thought it was caused by eating too much sugar.

I need help, every night I sweat profusely. It’s only gotten worse, I’ve tried so many different things. I’ve tried changing my clothes, bed sheets, bed comforter. I go to bed comfortable but wake up freezing cold from the amount of sweat on my body. I don’t sleep throughout the night as I get hot and cold hot and cold. I don’t know what to do, I don’t have insurance so I can’t just go see a doctor.

I need advice please
I have had a constant headache/migraine since beginning of October 2021. Previously I have had some migraines but they always went away. When this headache first started we were in and out of the ER almost every other week due to it never actually going away. I have had an MRI at the beginning which they said was clear. I have done a spinal tap and DHE treatment at a children’s hospital which the spinal tap they said came back clear but DHE did not work. Mind you this had all happened end of 2021. Since then I have been working with neurologists and specialists. I have tried a few medications such as prednisone, topamax, and gabapentin. Since this has started my overall health has been terrible. I catch viruses easily, I’ve been borderline septic, I’ve had a meningitis scare, and mental health issues. Currently I have had 2 rounds of botox injections which have not been helping and have another MRI set for early March but am afraid they will find nothing again. This headache has completely taken over my life and I really dont want to go back to trying different medications and going back and forth to the ER. The pain itself is all over my head and is a stabbing/pressure type of pain. It used to be just in the back of my head. Along with I have had hand-eye coordination issues, balance issues, and troubles with writing or using small objects which is not normal for myself. If you have any advice on what else to do or to try I would love feedback. I feel like my doctors have given up with what to do and I’m lost.

I’ve been having a heavy feeling in my chest with an on and off cough over the past year.
My voice has gone deeper, I sound very tired and unwell and now I’m having problems with swallowing.
My doctor ordered bloods and a chest X-ray
My bloods show high platelets and my X-ray came back normal
Any idea what other tests my doctor should be doing?
She didn’t even bother to phone me about my chest xray results I had to chase them up, she doesn’t seem too bothered but I’m a worrier

I had blood drawn a couple hours ago and I just took the bandage off and my arm looks like this. I've had circular and splotchy bruises but never a line like this. My arm is very sore in that area as well. Just wondering why and if it's just something that will fix itself.

My son has anaphylaxis. He carries an epi pen, we are in the UK. He has had several serious anaphylaxis attacks and has been rushed to hospital. He has no allergies apart from triggers such as smoke fumes and possibly lentils but tested negative for other allergies. He can become over stimulated and overwhelmed which triggers an anaphylactic reaction and has done in the past if he has a meltdown or over exertion. Anyone heard of this as I need a specialist I think

Hello. 4 months ago I did a pregnancy test and it turned positive. If I touch my stomach I don't feel the baby, it's just hard. It is normal to touch and not feel the baby? I am worried if it's a disease like ovarian cyst. If it's really a disease can it cause missed periods?

Over a week ago, I had s*x with this guy. We used a condom and he’s been the only s*x partner I’ve had. We had s*x 3 times in the span of a month.
The last time, we had rough s*x which included a lot of friction since it was from behind and slapping. I got these red lesions on my lower back and butt area, and thought they were from that but it’s still not gone— the last time we saw each other was last week.
Now, around my p***c area I have a reddish kinda rash. It doesn’t itch much. Just occasionally. The lesions on my lower back and butt don’t either. I was googling stuff and saw that it might be molluscum contagiosum.
I also came from a very hot climate to a very cold one. He also sweated a lot during s*x. I don’t really wanna say anything to him because I just met him from a study abroad.
I cannot seek a professional because my mom won’t allow me to and if she found out I had s*x she would go crazy. That’s why I’m seeking help here.
I was wondering if there is a treatment for this so it can be gone asap and if I can still be s*xually active? I was always safe with him and used a condom. I am hoping it’s just something else.. but if it’s not, I would like to know what are the precautions and what I can do. Thank you.

I started feeling this pain in my neck recently but I shrugged it off because it was really more sore than painful (I've started working out this past month)
It is now to the point where my neck keeps turning to one side on its own and it's difficult for me to keep it straight. Because of this, I'm constantly dizzy, irritable and in discomfort
I've tried stretches and massages and it only helps very little
Any idea what could be the cause and how I can help myself get better? It's difficult for me to function. I figured maybe I injured it while exercising but I'm not sure. It's not painful just extremely uncomfortable, I'm just hoping there isn't any permanent damage. I currently don't have health insurance so I'm just exploring my options. Hello. I have this rash happen at least once a day for the last few years but it is becoming more frequent. The red spots are hot to the touch. The rash is not raised. It does not itch but I can feel my body heat rise when the rash appears. I have kept a food journal and cannot find any correlation to any food I eat and and the rash. I take amitriptyline and Buspar on a daily basis. It also appears on my face. Sometimes it is more splotchy and sometimes more solid patches. The only other thing I have noticed is that my feet and hands get hot and tingly and feel like they are swelling and dull leg pain that is almost constant. I have also notice I am super tired and want to sleep for 8+ hours. I am a 37 year old female. Please please give me advice.

I had a huge abscess under my arm. Today, whent to the doctor and it opened up by itself, and doctor was able to drain it until no puss was coming out. But I had it infected for over couple of weeks. I asked what kind of dressing should be placed, but she left only dry gause there and said just dry. My question, what if I still have some infection up there, should I use some antiseptic ointments maybe, since the gause is dry now but the area is very tender? And yes, she prescribed antibiotics for me. That infection made me sick with fever and night chills. So I am lucky that I did not get sepsis.

Seemed to happen without notice in 1 day, but size remains the same since I first noticed it

I’m a 22 year old female and have been having awful stomach pains since I was about 15. I’ve had my appendix out at 17/18, just to rule out possible appendicitis and still no luck. I’ve had CT and MRI scans, ultrasounds, X-rays, colonoscopies.. they cannot find ANYTHING!
It causes diarrhoea and vomiting whenever it flares up, the pain can vary from under my right rib cage to the lower right abdomen/groin area.
They suspected hip problems, appendicitis, gall stones and pcos - no sign on any tests or scans.
They are putting it down to ibs but I have tried the diet, I have tried the tablets and there’s no improvement. I can tell the difference between an ibs flare up and the pain I get when this mystery illness flares up.
I have a contraceptive implant and rarely get periods, it’s definitely not cramps!
It’s flared up again, I’m vomiting, had loose stool for 4 days and the pains under my rib. I’m avoiding getting in touch with the gp because I feel like they’ll just brush it off again. I really don’t know what to do!
If anybody has any suggestions on what it could be? Please let me know! Thank you

Hello I am 15 and this has been happening for a while--
When I was little (3-5th grade) it was common for my vision to black and cause spots that made my head hurt and one day we drove out of town to see what was going on and they thought it was dehydration or iron but they weren't really sure and I didn't tell them everything because I was too little to understand how big of a problem it was and I thought it would just go away but it never really did no matter how much I drank or when I *was* at a health weight as I gained an eating disorder around 6th grade.
A month ago around the beginning of December it got worse out of nowhere
Such as:
-my body going limb/wobbling/shaking/loss of control of my body/ect
-vision -completely- black to the point I didn't know where I was
-fainting
-nausea (feeling like I'm gonna puke)
-confuseon
-bad breathing
-vision still blacking
-way way more
It happens more when I stand up, when I've been in one position for a while, too much stress,, & ect.
My parents are abusive so I cannot go to the doctor and I need answers before it gets worse-

Im so worried ive ruined my health already. Im so upset with myself for being a smoker for so long. Im 41. Smoked since 15. Abt .5-1 pack a day. Quit cigs 3 mos, but admittedly have one a few times in there. Exam next month, but really worried ive already got COPD. Irony is health anxiety is worse. I start concentrating on my breathing then feel like I'm breathing weird. I do run. Up to a 10k in abt an hour, however this morning I could only do a 5k and its made my anxious.

Hi. I am a 28 year old black female who doesn't smoke or drink at all. For about 6 months I have been having a feeling someone light like hair stuck in my throat. I've tried gargling salt water and mouthwash, I've been to the doctor several times regarding this issue and recently had an endoscopy done which came back completely normal. They have no idea what is causing thus sensation. I am very afraid it may be cancer even though I do not drink or smoke. I only feel it in between meals. When I'm eating or drinking, I don't not feel it at all. It does not cause pain or difficulty eating or drinking but in between meals is bothersome and quite frankly annoying given how long I have been having this sensation. What could this be and what can I do to get rid of it? I am desperate. Thank you.

Sorry this is long but I'm desperate. I'm not sure what symptoms are related to what. But every time I eat, no matter what it is because I've tried to keep track and see if one thing causes it over another, I get these symptoms. My heart starts pounding and racing for about 30 minutes after I finish eating. My bpm is around 120 when I measure it. I feel lightheaded and fatigued for about an hour after I eat. I have sharp stabby pains in my stomach. And I get hot and sweaty. And I burp every 5-10 minutes for a couple hours after I eat. Sometimes my fingers and toes will go numb, similar to how I feel when I have a panic attack. I also will randomly wake up feeling exactly like I feel when I'm hungover but I haven't drank. And I can't figure out any reason. It just seems so random. This has been happening for about a year. I am 25, 5'3, 120 lbs, moderately active (exercise 4 days a week and work on my feet 8 hours a day 5 days a week). I am also vegetarian, do not eat dairy, gluten, and limit my refined sugar and oil consumption. No more than 10 g of refined sugars per day. I have eaten the same way for 8+ years for reference so I don't think it has to do with my diet, because I only recently started to feel this way and haven't changed my diet. I drink 1 glass of wine once per week on Friday night. And I drink 1 coffee per day in the morning with no sugar. I'm not sure what doctor to go to. A specialist like a GI, endocrinologist, who? Or any leads for what might be happening to me? My only guess after hours of googling is a thyroid issue (thyroid cancer runs in my maternal family) or lyme disease or an unknown autoimmune issue? But I know googling isn't my friend and only serves to worry me more than I need to be. Also forgot to mention my blood tests showed I have low blood sugar, and low white blood cell count. But I'm not sure how to interpret that or what it means.
