Productivity Tool:
Have you tried the pomodoro technique?
Here’s how it works:
1. break down your work into small manageable tasks.
2. pick a tast to work on.
3. set a timer for 25 minutes and focus only on this one task. if you get sidetracked onto something else, reset the timer.
4. when the timer rings take a 5 minute break, then set the timer for your next pomodoro (25 minutes)
5. after 4 pomodoros, take a longer break i.e. 15-30 minutes.
Over time using this technique will increase your focus and productivity by training you to stay in the flow and on task.
