Hey folks!! Come by Franz Witte tomorrow. I am playing music in the greenhouse from 12 to 2pm. It's a Christmastime Wonderland in there!
Anyone else working on their creative projects this winter? I started re-writing a song that I wrote in December 2010. I have been playing it out at gigs for 13 years! Wow! That went by quick. I recently decided to change it significantly by totally re-writing the verses, keeping just the chorus (because I so very much love the chorus) and so far keeping the bridge. As of now I am pleased with where it is going. I may get it far enough along to play it out at my next gig on the 16th. We'll see!! What kind of fun stuff have you got going this winter?

Hey! Tomorrow I will be at Franz Witte garden center playing for the Earthlings and the plants in the greenhouse. Is it time to break out the Ugly Christmas Sweaters yet? Shall I wear one to my gig? I've got a dreadful ugly Christmas sweater vest that I am tempted to wear. People might think I always dress so horribly though. Your thoughts on this conundrum? This is this morning. That's 9am Pacific. I am not real sure you will be able to listen from the internet. I tested a few different website players and none seemed to work for me but if you are on the Oregon Coast, you should be able to tune in the old fashioned radio way.

Folk Alley Sessions: Birds of Chicago - "Remember Wild Horses"
Ok, Santa Barbara area peeps, ya gotta get yourselves up to Live Oak Fest today by 1pm. One of my very favorite bands, the Birds of Chicago, are playing and I CAN'T GO! It's too hot for me. Even when I am not pregnant, I often get heat sickness too easy, so that's a chance I can't take now. But I hope you can do the heat because it will be so worth it. So please go for me and tell me how amazing it is. If you've been to a show of mine in the last few years, you have likely heard the two songs of theirs that I cover. The best part is that Live Oak Festival is a benefit for one of our fantastic local radio stations, KCBX. I love . They have been so supportive of my own music and have an excellent line up of DJ's bringing the newest best music that you will never hear on commercial radio. KCBX is one the gems of our music community, let's keep them supported too!

Last month, I got some great airplay from two 91.9 fm stations. One was our local gem FM and the other was KRVM FM in Eugene, Oregon.
KCBX in San Luis Obispo were also incredibly supportive!! Thank you to all the DJs who support us independent musicians! It means a lot to get my tunes out to new ears.
