Even those of us who train as counsellors go through difficult periods in our personal lives. When this happens, and we can't make sense of what's going on around us, seeing a therapist is the obvious choice. This not only helps us sort out our own stuff but also has the benefit of making us better equipped, through self-awareness and life experience, to help our own clients 🙂 every life experience is a lesson, and every cloud has a silver lining 🙂

I have recently registered with Psychology Today, and you can now find me on their register of practitioners.
As part of the registration process I have to describe what I can offer, and this is what I wrote :-

" if you are reading this then my guess is that you are considering counselling, and trying to decide which therapist is best for you. Sometimes it is a question of finding the person you just click with, and this can take more than one attempt. There is no obligation if you feel you would like to contact me to see if you feel comfortable with me "

I have set up this page as a point of access to my service as a Therapeutic Councellor.
I am a great believer in the power of counselling. It has helped me a great deal personally, which is what prompted me to train in this field.
