After a rather bad mishap with a baseboard heater (pic #2) resulting in frogging the entire blanket and starting over.... It's half done! (again)

My first attempt at a graphgan (tapestry?) baby blanket. So far so good, but when (if) I make another one I will start by googling how not to get tangled 😅

It's done!! This was the blanket that never ended. So many ends to tie in. Then I thought I was done my bees and forgot bees have wings 🤦‍♀️

Ready for a wash and then to be gifted and on to the next!

While wandering the Dollarama the other day my toddler fell in love with this ball of yarn. So it came home with us and will become a scarf. And probably a toque and maybe mittens as well!

The worst part about this blanket is the ridiculous amount of ends that will have to be dealt with 😭

For Halloween we are going as Little red riding hood and the big bad wolf 🐺. To save on a costume he'd wear once I made a wolf toque! Attempt #1 is the third picture and it was not a success 🥺 But the third try was a success! Working on a tail now and excited for Halloween 😁

I have done a lot of crafting, crocheting being my main focus. But I used to write All. The. Time!

I've had some time to jump back in to a different part of my creative world. In 2008 I started writing a novel 📖 (ambitious word for what I started writing). I've poked at it a bit over the years, but am super excited about it now. It's set in a different world with fairies so I have created maps and magic. It is so much fun to write! And I find myself googling the most random things 😂 107 pages and more to come!
