Considering a handspun for new ?! Me too!! Here are a few ideas I came up with and wanted to share.

I am using Natural DK (shaniko wool). It is very plump and easily knits up to the worsted gauge in the pattern.
Along with the shaniko or shaniko tweed handspun fiber is going to pair perfectly!!

This yarn is so plump and squishy, I had no trouble getting gauge for the worsted version. Bonus, DK has more yardage, so I only need one skein!
