Good afternoon.

As we normally do, CCDD has coordinated with Osceola County Sheriff's Office for extra deputies tonight during trick-or-treating. The sheriff's office will have a large number of deputies from its traffic unit in hot spots for traffic control. CCDD has paid for roaming deputies throughout the neighborhoods and to assist our community schools during student dismissal since many trick-or-treaters will arrive into Celebration early. If you have any concerns or emergencies, please call 911. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!

WEEK 3 PAVING IN ARTISAN PARK

Photos from Celebration Community Development District's post 16/10/2023

One of the responsibilities of your CCDD is to own and maintain the public alleyways behind residences, while Osceola County owns and maintains the named public streets. Starting with last year's budget, the CCDD board began accruing annually for recurring alleyway repaving projects based on the time since the last repaving. Artisan Park is the last village to have its first-ever repaving done. Crews are in the middle of completing this project over the coming weeks. Going forward, all villages will be put on a set cyclical repaving schedule to ensure consistency throughout Celebration.

ATTENTION CELEBRATION RESIDENTS:

CCDD has been in regular contact with the Osceola Sheriff's Office since the incident yesterday. As of late last night, CCDD had arranged for extra Sheriff Deputy details for today from the CCDD security budget, purely as a precautionary measure even though there were no specific threats to Celebration. OCSO has advised us this morning that they made an arrest overnight which removes any need for added patrol details. CCDD appreciates the partnership with OCSO to work together for the community.

Good morning residents,

The District is monitoring the course of Hurricane Lee. While its course is still uncertain, the possibility for even indirect effects on Celebration is of concern due to its size and strength. In an abundance of caution, CCDD has assessed water levels at ponds throughout town and is working with appropriate authorities to preemptively pump water out in a controlled manner to reduce chances for flooding. District leadership will continue to assess the storm's progress and prepare accordingly.
