It has been a couple of weeks, let me tell you. Whatever this virus is that's sweeping our state took me down for two solid weeks, emptied a third of my classrooms each period each day, and seems to just hang on. Everyone seems to be getting different combinations of symptoms, too. I had the fatigue (which seems to be universal), some congestion, but the COUGH is gruel (to the point of vomiting and near pass-outs), and the headache was the worst I've ever had. And that's saying a lot since I can suffer migraines for weeks at a time. Please protect yourselves! It doesn't test positive for COVID, and no medicine seems to help, OTC or prescription. I've heard having a flu shot will make the symptoms easier to handle, so even if you don't normally get one, you might want to think about it. (I am -not- a doctor. Just giving anecdotal report from friends who have had the plague and a shot.) Today is the very first day I've felt normal.
