Dual Language students decided to exercise their right to support the fight to end of gun violence by standing for 17 minutes during class. We are very proud of the way students showed their support for the victims in the Parkland shooting.
Winter Concert

West Chicago Police Department
The West Chicago Police Department joins police departments in 18 suburban communities participating in the McDonalds “Good McDeeds” program.
Police in 18 suburban communities announced they are on the watch for youth following safety rules. When students are spotted wearing a bike helmet or obeying traffic signals, they can be rewarded by officers on patrol handing out vouchers for a free Happy Meal and a book redeemable at West Chicago McDonald’s during National Literacy Month in September.
The “Good McDeeds” program launched in June when police in nine suburban communities handed out thousands of vouchers for McDonald’s soft serve cones to citizens. Since then, the program has doubled in outreach to a total of 18 law enforcement agencies joining the effort with local McDonald’s owners/operators for this safety initiative. **Remember that Dual classes are in the Dual hallway (you can take the stairs located by the main office)**
