In 1966 the summit double at Mt. Sunapee was converted to a gondola for summer rides. This lasted till about the 1986-87 season.
The Plummet Slope at Thorn Mt. Ski Area. Thorn closed in 1956.

The Katzensteig Ski Trail was one of three main trails on Little Wildcat Mt. located behind the Glen House. Little Wildcat was a northern sub peak of Wildcat Mt.
Katzensteig was one of three trails cut by the CCC in the 1930’s and was considered the most challenging of the three.
