Vintage dress repairs,

Sometimes you just can’t say good bye, you’ve just got to find a way to update it or repair it.
This is one of my customers favourite, for comfort, practically and elegance.
I was over the moon to bring it back to life for lots more wears. 🤩

I’ve been very quiet on my social media page but I’ve been so busy doing lots of Mummy, housewife things and everything else 😅
So I thought, why not take advantage of an amazing sunshine and my father in-law’s Truck as a back ground( 😘+ Hubby photo cred 💕) for a bit of a pose with the Tinkers Tunic and the Lulu headband . This tunic is still one of my favourite and was so good for today’s weather. 😌 I will be adding more fabric soon so you can choose from different varieties.

I don’t know you but I’ve been in need of wearing clothes that are a bit more forgiving 😬
So this tunic is actually the perfect compromise between dressed up and casual.
You can wear it with a belt for a more dressed up style or without for a more relaxed look.
This pattern isn’t my own and was passed on by a dear friend. You know who you are 😉

Expending still... I was asked to make a hair bonnet in silk.

Did you know; wrapping your hair in silk helps growth and reduce hair damage?

So here it is!
The hair bonnet and warp.
All you need is the bonnet but I think the wrap makes it more of a statement... why not look good while doing something good for yourself 😀

This is a recycled fabric and a one off. I must say this has been a real challenge.

This is a real test of patience and practice.
It has already taken 3 hours to get to this.... I am not finished yet.
The shiny fabric is super friable so I’m having to triple stitch to secure it. 😳

Next I’ll be adding a large hemming of white satin on sleeves as bottom of the garment And a satin white belt to tie it together.

I think it’s time for a break and a large glass of wine 🤪🍷
