80 hours of planning, designing, and painting… and we officially have a completed mural! 💜 I am so incredibly happy with how this piece turned out, and am so grateful for all of the learning experiences that came along the way with it. I experienced so many ups and downs with this project, and have gained so much wisdom by translating this design from my mind into this work of art.

I’m taking a break from murals to work on smaller pieces, but if you are interested in a commission similar to this style, I can absolutely convey that on canvas or wood panel.

In just under 2 weeks time, I will be headed to Kempton, PA to vend and paint at Inclusion Festival 2023 💜 this was my very first festival I ever worked, and I am so thrilled to be vending my own artwork there this year. Join us for camping, music, workshops, art, and of course lots and lots of dancing! This festival works so hard to make this event accessible and inclusive of all abilities, and the energy is contagious! 💜

This years theme is the Wheel of Life. The Wheel of Life is a wonderful tool used by many to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I’ll be having a fun little surprise at my vending booth related to it, so definitely come check it out 😉

Reflections from the mountaintop this past weekend:

Wow. What an incredible three day journey. I had a lot of fear and anxiety going into this weekend. I got so stuck in my head an one point thinking that I didn’t deserve to be around all of these other incredibly amazing artists and creatives. I started feeling imposter syndrome HARD, and it felt like it was completely consuming me. I called a friend crying that I just wanted to leave, that I didn’t belong. But some sort of spark in me just pushed me to go step outside of my comfort zone and just connect with these artists. Before I knew it, I discovered I was not alone in this feeling and that so many others were caught up in this feeling.

It is so damn hard to advertise yourself and self-advocate sometimes. Because sometimes I do feel like this imposter. This weekend showed me, though, that deep down, I am not an imposter and I am surrounded by such a strong community that just wants to do nothing but lift me up and show me love and I will do nothing but that for them.

Painting the dragon eye this weekend only strengthened that feeling. I gazed deep into the eye and felt courage and power radiating from inside of myself. In a way, I felt almost as if I was gazing into a part of myself. This dragon and I have definitely met before, somewhere somehow.

I am still anxious in moving forward this year. Last year, I mostly just worked with my beautiful friend Lindsay Jamison Art to help her with her endeavors, and this is truly my first year stepping out to do my own thing. And it’s incredibly intimidating. My art is very soon going to be my full-time job, and I am still feeling in a way like I can’t do it. But I have realized that is a complete lie, and that I can and I will, even if I’m not sure how in this moment. But I’ll be damned if I don’t try.

Thank you so much to Mountain Music Festival and The Pigment Sanctuary for supporting and lifting up all creatives and giving us the space to share these parts of ourselves.

So incredibly excited to announce I will be live painting at Mountain Music Festival in WV this June! 💃🏔🕺

This will likely be my first festival of the year, and I am more than excited to kick off the summer with this one! 🎉

Hey world! ♥️

Wanna know what I’ve been up to for the last 3 months? I’ve been directing this amazing group of people to perform a production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen. We only get to perform this show 4 times for the community, on Thursday the 16th at 7pm, Saturday the 18th at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday the 18th at 2pm. All performances are in the Manchester Valley High School auditorium (it’s crazy being back at my alma mater)!

We have been working nonstop since January and I will be so looking forward to proudly presenting this production this week.

This is a segment from Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s book “Living Your Purpose Journal.” This journal and book is helping me so much to uncover more about my purpose and what exactly that means. I highly recommend this text to anyone who is struggling with feeling like they don’t know what they’re doing with their life, or that they have no purpose. It has helped me to realize so much about what the definition of purpose is, and how to look at it from a different light than I’ve been looking at it with my entire life thus far. But something in my soul told me to share this quote today, so I dearly hope it helps one of you.

I am working on some digital artwork for a production of RENT that I’m also vocal directing! This is by far my most favorite digital painting I have ever done, and I definitely want to play around more with this style.

I’ve been spending my last couple of weeks working on some theater art! We have our production off Evil Dead the musical with Small Town Stars Theatre Company coming up NEXT weekend!
