Anyone else in the southeast lose sleep last night because of the severe storms that came through?
I am very fortunate that it was not much more than a beautiful (yet terrifying) display of lightening and a rainstorm at my house. Tornados 🌪 did touch down throughout the state and even within my city, causing damage and loss of life. Many were without electrical and internet services for the majority of the day (not a great pairing with Stay At Home orders).
I am very grateful that running on little sleep while leading two children through e-learning curriculum is my only struggle today. 🙌🏼
Also, so very grateful to have these two Arbonne products on hand.

I was too 🤦🏻‍♀️
I picked up the habit when my children were younger (they are 10 & 7 now) and I couldn’t remember what it felt like to eat a warm meal uninterrupted. Even today, sometimes those warm meals elude me because by the time I sit down, someone has realized they need something!
So I picked up the habit of snacking as I cooked. Grabbing some bites while I cut food. “Tasting” the food as I cooked. I became so skilled that by the time the meal was cooked and plated, I had already eaten an entire meal.🤷🏻‍♀️
Oh but wait! Let’s talk about the flip side - Yeah, I see you nodding your head! 🙋🏻‍♀️ You know all about finishing what they leave behind. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Today as I cooked blueberry pancakes for I realized I am no longer the chef who snacks! And I no longer feel the desire to eat what they leave behind.
#1 because I have realized that my body does not feel best when I snack as I cook or overeat on the leftovers.
But also because I now have my from that keeps me satisfied and focused on my health! And it is so simple and fast! I just add 2 scoops of my favorite protein powder to 9oz. water and shake! I can quickly shake one while hurrying out the door. Or shake one while prepping/cooking brunch. Or prepare it the night before and grab in the morning. Or, like this morning, I can prepare brunch without temptation because I know that once my family is sitting down and eating, my protein mix is available and ready to shake up. I can shake & enjoy while I clean the dishes after a relaxed family brunch! 😍
Simply said: I can put my health first while prioritizing my family 🙌🏼
