My first Gold Cup weekend at Steel Wheels didn’t turn out like I hoped, fell during practice on Saturday then fell during Moto 2 while leading on Sunday .. I’m okay, and ready for some outdoor racing soon 🙂

I fell yesterday right before racing started. I’m okay, a bruised up knee and shin. I didn’t get my race in but I’m okay and going to try again Saturday!

I started my BMX journey riding a KTM Strider around my house. My parents got me a pedal bike and I found ramps to put together in my backyard. I watched riders on YouTube and knew I wanted to start racing! I started a beginner league in January 2021, followed by another beginner league where I placed 1st overall. I moved into a bridge program where I transitioned into open racing the summer of 2021. By the end of 2021, I moved up from a Novice rider to intermediate! I’m really excited for my first full race season, 2022!
