** QUB AFL club is back **

QUB AFL returns to action today in preparation for our upcoming AFL Ulster Winter League and AFL Europe European Championships in February.

We invite all students to come along and play Aussie Rules footy with us.

We hope to have both a Men's and Women's uni team this year, all welcome especially total beginners. Just come along and give it a go.

AFL Northern Ireland is excited to announce the fixtures for round 3

Saturday 5th November will see all teams travel to Belfast for a full day of AFL football.

The Womens teams East Coast Eagles NI and Oileán Hounds ARFC will be fighting it out in their first game of the season.

QUB Australian Football Club will look to get their first win of the season when they go up against the undefeated Mid Ulster Scorpions ARFC who look to cement top of the ladder and a Grand Final spot.

East Coast Eagles NI and Oileán Hounds ARFC Mens' team are both sitting second on the ladder with points but only one team can claim second spot and take one step towards finals football.

A lot is on the line this weekend, so come on down and support all teams.

Congratulations to Oileán Hounds ARFC on their first win of the Winter League.

Round 2 of AFL Northern Ireland winter league took place for QUB and Oileán Hounds ARFC , with the Hounds coming back from a deficit to take the win on a wet night in Maghery.

Congrats to the hounds, some great play from both sides in difficult conditions. Real signs of good things to come for AFL in Ulster, we look forward to our next round.

Hi Everyone, we're running an aussie rules football taster session this wednesday 28th at the Queens PEC 4g pitch 2-3pm

We welcome all newcomers, so come on down get to know the sport, people and what were all about- kicking an egg shaped ball and having some fun, take it as seriously as you like 😁

We have mixed trainings weekly, currently have a men's team playing in a few different competitions with the goal of adding a full womens team this year to compete in the European Universities cup in Cardiff, February 2023.
