In the Skill Building For Innovation studio at our NuVuX partner school, Woodstock Union Middle and High School, students grades 9-12 are exploring five design skills: graphic design, laser cutting, 3D printing, woodshop, and electrical engineering. Students will then blend these skills together to design their own creative solutions for the common good.

At NuVuX, we love growing students’ 21st century skills: Collaboration, Presenting, Design, Iteration and Problem-solving.

Magical and awe inspiring light patterns are keeping our dark days bright from the “Illumination Sculptures” studio happening in Woodstock at our NuVuX partner school Woodstock Union Middle and High School. Students grades 9-12 are exploring light as a medium to explore three key attributes of perception - shape, color and motion. Students will blend these attributes together to create their own dynamic light installations or sculptures.

Have you ever wanted to create a magical Tree House where you could escape the world and enter into a fantastical universe of your wildest dreams? Our Canopy Creations Design Sprint has students building these magnificent canopy creations and learning more about the design process. Our team led a dynamic workshop at San Diego Unified School District's PBL Institute where over 80 educators engaged in a hands-on design charrette and learned to integrate NuVu's design studio pedagogy. The event sparked creativity and collaboration, leaving educators inspired and ready to bring innovative project-based learning to their classrooms. Our Summer NuVuX Innovation Camp for Educators (NICE) ended with a celebration of teacher work and a group reflection on how the NuVuX Design Process can be used in teachers' classrooms this coming school year. Educators also got a taste of our NuVuX curriculum that schools around the world integrate into their classrooms and innovation spaces to inspire teachers, engage students, and foster communities of collaboration, co-learning, and growth!

Educators are jamming at Day 2 of our Summer NICE (NuVuX Innovation Camp for Educators) as they build their prototypes and prepare for final presentations. We have educators from around the world joining us for this 2.5 day hands-on experience into NuVuX's creative process.

Our NuVuX Innovation Camp for Educators launched yesterday to a roaring start! Educators are joining us from around the world for a hand on experience in our creative process and unique studio based model. They will be elevating their project based skills in the classroom while connecting with some amazing educator peers from multiple countries!

🚀 Thrilled to share highlights from our first-ever NuVuX Student Summit at NuVu Innovation School! 🎉 Students from NuVuX partner schools across New England & Tennessee converged for an epic 2-day adventure this past weekend! 🌟 They unleashed their creativity in a high-octane design challenge, dove into skill workshops on digital fabrication & AI Ecologies, and embarked on unforgettable outings to MIT Media Lab & local escape rooms. 🔥 Plus, they were treated to an inspiring talk by NuVu co-founder David Wang on the cutting-edge of electronic medicine! 🤯✨

Honoring our educators with handmade masterpieces! Witness the talent of our student woodworkers as they create gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week at Odyssey STEM Academy. In just 8 hours, these students designed and built beautiful wood tools and objects for their teachers.

We had a fantastic group of principals from the Li Xigui Prestigious School Principals Leadership Program, also known as the 'Pilot Project,' visit NuVu Innovation School to see what a future-ready model of education can look like. This initiative aims to nurture future-ready principals nationwide by drawing from an elite pool of principals from top-tier primary and secondary schools across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and other provinces. Our NuVuX and NuVu Innovation School team hosted the group onsite. The day was filled with conversations with coaches and students on how our creative pedagogy inspires a purpose-driven model of learning.
