Any ideas on what Brian is up to now at the Hoyt?
I laughed at him today cuz he told me everything should be done in 30 days… yeah right 🤣
until he gets another idea - right Cailey, Karen and Jason?…. 🤦🏼♀️
look what we’ve been up to this week at the Hoyt!!
We are happy to announce that we will be donating the proceeds of Sunday's tour to the following:
$1,000 to the Carroll County Historical Society
$810 to New Creation Pregnancy Resource Center
$400 to Foster Grandparent Program of Carroll County
One last thing for now…..
Last year Karen said “You know what I think the coolest thing has been? All of the thank yous that people have said to me.”
And it’s true! People tell us all the time. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for saving the Villa. We heard it so often yesterday!
It’s probably the thing we love to hear the most because it makes us feel really good about what we’ve done!!
We’ve loved this project - we’ve had so much fun doing it! Not gonna lie - there’s been some stress 🤪 But it’s been so worth it for us and we are so grateful for all the love and support from all of you as well!!
We’re not done yet!! There’s still more to do, but we’ve come a long way and it’s been amazing!!
So again thank you for all the support and for loving the Hoyt as much as we do!
Brian, Holly, Jason and Karen
Enjoy this cool video created yesterday by Maddi Klocke one Noel & Co talented cosmetologists!! Very cool - thank you Maddi!!
A huge thank for everyone who came out yesterday to tour the Hoyt mansion and check out what we’ve been up to 😊
221 people came through - which means we raise $2210 which we will be donating to local charities. We are not exactly sure which charities yet. We do know that we’re going to donate to the historical society for sure . After all, we were all enjoying a historical landmark yesterday ❤️. We will post in the next few days what we decided!!
It really was a beautiful day!!
We’d love to hear from you! What was your favorite room? What was the coolest thing you saw? And feel free to share a picture that you snapped of something you thought was amazing in the comments below!!
🍋🍦 It’s Lemon Week! 🍦🍋
Some additional details on our upcoming tour...
Gates to the courtyard will open at 12:50 pm and tours will begin at 1:00 pm running continuously through 4:00 pm. There is a designated flow of traffic for the tour, with entrance beginning at the South door under the porte cochere in the courtyard. Please note there may be a wait to enter as we want to make sure people are comfortable throughout the mansion during the tour. We will have personnel in place to guide the people and we have prepared printed information of significant facts and details about the mansion for each of you to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: the Hoyt is 104 years old and historical in nature and therefore has many steps. There are no ramps or elevators, so please be aware of that.
The tours will end in GRIND, where you will be able to purchase and enjoy a coffee if you would like. Then feel free to spend some additional time in the Courtyard! It looks like it will be a beautiful day!
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
Wallpaper on the ceiling... Yep - we did that at the Hoyt. We have four different wallpapers on the ceiling in different areas of the Hoyt - Will you find them all on the tour this Sunday?
