◾️ From August 31st, Auckland is anticipated to step down to Level 2. Gatherings (except for tangi / funerals = Max 50 persons) will be restricted to 10 persons.

🚨 - There have been a further 8 confirmed cases of COVID-19 🦠 that have been detected in the community (7 confirmed + 1 probable). There are now 101 community cases.

◾️Of the 8 new cases of COVID-19 detected in the community today, all have an established link to the Auckland cluster.

◾️ 4 are household 🏠 contacts, 1 is a contact from a church 💒, 1 is a contact on a bus 🚌, and 2 are workplace 🏭 contacts.

◾️ 10 people are currently hospitalised 🏥 with COVID-19 at current, 3 in Auckland City Hospital and 4 in Middlemore Hospital ( 2 of which is in ICU), 1 in Waikato, and 1 in Northshore Hospital.

🚨 - There have been a further 9 confirmed cases of COVID-19 🦠 that have been detected in the community. There are now 89 community cases, 88 of which have confirmed links to the Auckland cluster. 1 case remains under investigation.

◾️Of the 9 new cases of COVID-19 detected in the community today, all have an established link to the Auckland cluster. 5 are linked to various churches 💒 in South Auckland, and 4 are household contacts.

◾️There are 223 possible church 💒 close contacts. 170 have been tested and are awaiting results. Contact tracing remains underway.

◾️ 8 people are currently hospitalised 🏥 with COVID-19 at current, 2 in Auckland City Hospital and 5 in Middlemore Hospital ( 1 of which is in ICU), and 1 in Northshore Hospital.

◾️There are 13 new cases of COVID-19 detected in the community today that have been confirmed outside of isolation facilities.

◾️ ALL cases were in Auckland, and ALL were linked to the original 4 new confirmed community cases. Therefore, this current outbreak is being treated as a cluster.

◾️1 was a student of Mt Albert Grammar. The entire school has been asked to closely monitor their health for COVID-19 symptoms. Close contacts have been asked to isolate.

◾️3 are employees of Americold (the workplace of one of the first confirmed cases of the cluster), and 7 are family members of Americold workers.

◾️1 is an employee of Finance Now (the workplace of one of the first confirmed cases of the cluster), and 1 is a family member of this Finance Now employee.

◾️508,711 tests for COVID-19 have been done to date.
