Call You Out is a NYC rock trio on the punk side of the spectrum. We formed late 2019 right as covid became a household name and people were wrestling for toilet paper. With Josh on the drums, Trevor on bass and Wilson on guitar & vocals the energy is electric. Both Wilson & Josh are in the NYC dance-rock band called The Goodnight Darlings. Something’s happening.
Hello from NYC.
Just a quick update: After talking about it a little, we decided to stick with CALL YOU OUT… it’s just a cool band name. RADIOCLONE is cool too but a band in Italy took that name & released music with it. (I wrote a song RADIOCLONE back in the early 2000’s with my band BONBOMB. Anyway, we’re sticking with CALL YOU OUT.
Also, We’re finally getting to record in August!!! Can’t wait.

The image that decided the name change!
I’ve been wanting to change the name for a while because the name always felt too abrasive, too “I’m right & you’re wrong”, kind of like when someone preaches PMA but doesn’t live it. If you ever tried thinking of an original band name, you know it is nearly impossible. I was going through my phone & watched a video I put together for one of my old songs with BONBOMB called ‘Radioclone’ the image I made for that video smacked me in the face & said THIS IS WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR!
BONBOMB, which consisted of incredible musicians Raul on bass & Hank on drums, released our debut album ‘Sedated Nations’ in 2004. Radioclone was written in the midst of the nu metal/rap movement that took over the airwaves at the time & I was tired of it. We received a great review by someone who couldn’t understand the irony of the song that was being pumped into his ears. Love that song.
