It’s time to say THANK YOU to the amazing staff who make our school a great place to connect students to careers! This week, we recognize Michelle Wick Career and Technical Education Program Coordinator
and Communication Technology Teacher at Cloquet High School! 💚 💙
"I am Michelle Wick, serving as the CTE Program Coordinator, Communication Technology Teacher, Work-based Learning Coordinator, Robotics Head Coach, and Track and Field Assistant Coach at Cloquet High School. I live in Cloquet, MN, with my husband and two of our three daughters. My interests include fishing, traveling with my family, and working in the wood shop. I find teaching to be both challenging and immensely rewarding, particularly when I witness students acquiring skills and experiences that enhance their educational and career prospects."
Classes Taught:
I am currently teaching Intro to Photography, Graphic Design, 3D Design and Modeling, Electrical Alliance, and Work-based Learning Seminar to students in grades 9-12 at Cloquet High School. Additionally, I manage our school enterprise, Lumberjack Design and Fabrication.
Help us by giving Michelle a shoutout in the comments below! ⬇️🤗
Cloquet High School
One of our amazing Cloquet High School students.
🌟 Our students are shining bright! 🌟 Today we feature Brody Dushkin, a senior at Cloquet High School who is excelling in CAD and 3D Design and Modeling courses.
Brody intends to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering, ultimately aiming for a master's in aerospace. Brody understands the significance of these classes in acquiring vital knowledge and software skills that will support his future studies. He is aware that many students lack access to such courses in high school. His brother, a 2021 CHS graduate now studying engineering, has noted that students who miss out on modeling or CAD often encounter difficulties by their sophomore year in college. Brody is committed to maximizing these opportunities during his high school experience, and we are fortunate to have such a talented individual in our department.
Way to go, Brody! 🤗

We used our department to design and fabricate almost everything for the robotics team this season. The signs, banners, shirts, pit design, stickers, buttons, giveaway items and robot components. We could not have had such a successful season without the amazing sponsor support. We are proud to have the 5th place team at the Lake Superior Regional Competition this year. Cloquet’s very own RipSaw Robotics.

Proud of this senior for having a vision and following through with creating this beautiful set and laser engraved snoball tickets. The CTE department with Rhoades and Wick are happy to have helped you bring your vision to life.
