A busy week here in the programmes. Recently, we had a series of activities in the programmes starting with the SJTSS fraternity celebrating the small victories of the students who dared to be different and hence shined brightly in the first term opener exams, the mid-term break mass celebrated by Fr. Beatus Mauki SJ, who insisted on Christian soberness so as to avoid the sins of both omission and commission, and finally the week wind was beautifully graced with a visit at Upendo OVC programme by Bonn University Germany professors who are visiting Hekima Jesuit University College in Nairobi. Accompanied by Rev. Fr George Macharia SJ, they engaged the staff and the children of Upendo, encouraging them to keep doing their best.

As taken from the firm and strong teachings of Saint Polycarp of Smyrna, a true Christian lives a just life, doing everything for the greater glory of God and not Copying what the crowd/other people do.

Yes, the sayers call it war of words, Battle of minds and even Duel of doubts. At Saint Joseph Technical Secondary School, our debate sessions are always not only interesting but also intellectual endeavors which turns our students to good speakers, good thinkers and good convincers. We believe that a good debate is a fodder for the brain.

Dribble, shoot! score! repeat...it's always not just a game, it's our way of life here at Saint Joseph Technical secondary school every Monday and Thursday. We instill in our students the spirit to set their goals high and don't stop till they get where they believe they want to be.

On 31st January 2024, the SJDP programmes was very grateful to receive a delegation from The proposed Hekima university who came to visit our programmes and get firsthand insights on our interventions and contribution towards the growth of the community around and beyond.

As we begin this new school year, Yesterday marked our opening mass for the SJDP as we gathered as a community of believers, a family of God's children,led by our Executive Director,Fr. James Mugwe SJ and Deacon Francis Kyalo Safari SJ,We thanked God for the renewal of the past months and our safe return to this place. The organisation also officially welcomed our new students who recently joined our upendo OVC unit and SJTSS in both secondary and technical units, SJDP is where the love for knowledge is fostered, and dreams take flight.We are thrilled to welcome you to our programmes, where students blossom, minds grow, and hearts ignite.As you step through our doors, you become a part of our family.The slate is clean and anything can happen!!
