Mimi’s Finds & Re-do’s

If you haven’t been for awhile - check out Emmitsburg Antique Mall! Stop by The Wildflower Marketplace & it’s only about 25 minutes up the road!!! Between the two stores is something for everyone!!!

Do you recognize these Aunt Jeannie? They used to be white & I just painted them a fun color!!
And this adorable elephant was one of my many finds this past week - those babies💕💕

I absolutely love this set (loved - it’s already gone). It just needed some freshening up with paint - which I finally got to use my new paint sprayer (new 2 years ago and was still in the box - in the Amazon box!)

Here’s another one that’s been half finished for about a year!!! An antique singer sewing machine bottom with a wooden top!

Here’s a glass top table I’ve been messing with for months and finally took the time to finish it!!

I painted the bottom black and then painted /distressed/antiqued the top wood portion. The glass was a brown tinted glass - I did an antique mirror finish on it - wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out - but I like that it has a subtle reflection to it!

Here’s a few chairs I did this past week! What fun! Can’t wait to get my hands on some more!!!

I’ve had this glass top table in the store for a good while & hasn’t sold - so I thought - What can I do to make it fun?!?!
I modpodged fabric on the underside of the glass!!!
I’m happy how it turned out!! Love me some 🦩

I know - I know - it’s been forever!! But if you follow the Wildflower Marketplace page you will see I’ve been busy!!!
But I FINALLY finished up this project for Duke’s mommy!!! Table & chairs now match the dining room I painted last year!!

What I thought was going to be an easy clean up and stain was not!
Picked up the tables and chairs and the table had a scratch in the top - no big deal to sand and stain - till I got it home and started to work on it and found it had water damage to the top as well!
Thanks to some great friends and timing who had just gotten a table top with no bottom (thanks BJ Small & Burt!). A little paint and configuration made this set possible!!

Here’s the table that belongs to Suke’s mom. She wanted something a little brighter for in her dining room that I painted last year. So painted the top white and the legs gray to match the walls. Now next is the chairs!! (Meanwhile still working on her master bed/bath - I’ll show pics of that when I get done!)

Good Saturday morning!!!
I have about 20 things that I really want to get done today - so I’m sure I will be bouncing around a little all day long!!!
But I’ve been wanting to get these adorable Boyd’s resins I came across up!!
