Meet our truly odd one here, a cal king that was born with no eyes.

Yes, she is not just blind, she literally has no eyes. There are just two dents covered with scales at where her eyes should’ve been.

We usually cull animals with severe birth defects but this one besides having no eyes seems to be functioning just fine. After a few friends asking me to keep her, we’ve decided that she’ll be staying with us purely as a pet! There will be no breeding for her just in case this trait is inheritable.😌

Despite this awful season for us, probably due to the unusually hot weather. A really special baby came out just now!

It’s supposed to be a mask but that mask went all the way up it’s head! It’s a little on the small side let’s hope it will grow up just fine 😍😍😍😍

One of the best snake species for beginners in the hobby, the corn snakes. Generally docile nature, medium sized, Not too crazy appetite, huge variety and combinations of morphs and bloodlines (literally hundreds of them), great tolerance of different temperatures and humidity, usually costs a little to get one.
They’re also super easy to breed and gives a very rewarding experience when you see dozens of little heads pop out of the eggs at the same time!

However most of the beginners here don’t start with corn snakes anymore…..🥲
