i would stare for hours and gaze at myself in the mirror. my forehead had slight indented wrinkles. my skin was blotchy and dry. my stomach seemed to stick out too much. i hated the body i was in. i tried working out, and for a while and it worked. i started to get a little bit of ab muscles but i still didn’t feel as happy as i should. i would stand in the mirror, pinching my stomach looking down at the little extra skin i had.
“what if they think i’m too big?”
“all this fat is so unattractive.”
“i’m ugly.”
then something finally just snapped. i finally looked in the mirror again and i loved what i saw. i loved the curves and the way i had a little extra skin. i’ve always been told,
“you’re so tiny.”
“you should be grateful for the skin you’re in.”
but i didn’t. and now i do. don’t try and change the way your body looks, change the way you look at your body. body dysmorphia, depression, anxiety and all mental health is just as important as physical health. love yourself and be comfortable with the skin that you’re in.

so i decided to cut some bangs and it ended up being terrible. i don’t recommend you do this. go seek a professional.
watch as me and my family have fun while we run daily errands.
just watch how me and my boyfriend bond over music and conversation with a little bit of comedy.
