One year in. 🎄 A BIG shout out to the Battleford Spirit Committee for the work of putting on this downtown display, once again!

I am so excited and grateful to work with such innovative, caring and dedicated Town staff, as well as the Council. We respect each other and work through everything that comes our way, together.

I am fortunate to have such great people to work with and learn from. The Town of Battleford is in great hands. It feels like a privilege to live here.

This is great news, more outdoor family fun!

SHA has lifted outdoor restrictions on ski hills, we have a projected opening date of January 8th, 2021 weather permitting.

We are officially one month in and we've hit the ground running! I am very happy to report that the Town of Battleford has a top notch CAO, in Ash Alam, an excellent management team and staff, who made a solid and easy to approve budget, and a very well rounded council.

We have much to be grateful for in Battleford. With no tax increase, money in the bank and many exciting projects in the works.

I'd like to thank the staff and council for a very warm welcome! I hope everyone enjoys a quiet and restful holiday.

It's Election Day! I am excited and nervous! 😬

Typically, only about 20% of voters turnout. That being said, I can honestly say I have felt a tremendous amount of support over the last month. Thank you so much for that!

However, that support needs to turn into votes. Please phone and text your friends and family in Battleford and let them know I am ready and willing to give it my all.

My dad Gerry is one of the greatest people in my life. Last week, he took it upon himself to call every person he knows in Battleford both personally and through business. He told them his youngest daughter was running for Council and that Monday was the last day to vote. He also hand delivered his homemade jerky as an added bonus. 🤣

I am very lucky. This is my dad!

I am always up for a challenge! Thank you Kelli Hawtin for helping to raise awareness for Q98 and Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc. On Air for Healthcare. She challenged all municipal candidates to donate today! I have already saw several who did! 🙌🏾

As soon as I got to town, I went into the Foundation office to drop off my donation. Luckily, one of my favourite people Sheila was up for a photo. I have worked with Sheila, Shawna, Sherry and Claudette for years. First as a volunteer for the BUH gala, and then over the last few years as co-chair and then chair of the Gala.

The Foundation means the world to me. This year, they are raising much needed funds for our Lab Services. The Lab has never been busier, especially in the last 7 months.

Please, if you can, head to the radio station parking lot today and make a donation. ❤️

I am beyond honoured to put my first sign up at Elders, Herman & Marie Bugler's home. They reached out right away. They were the inspiration.

It's a fine balance to know what the right way to campaign is. Surely, I want people to know I care. I am so grateful for their support! ☺️
