Time line of events.

Interclub information!!

-The pool deck opens at 8am and warm up starts at 8:30am. The meet officially starts at 10am. Volunteers, please make sure you show up on time for your job. Volunteer check is near the programs/bag tags.

-Christmas in July Spirit Parade at 9:40am. Santa beards & sunglasses will be provided. Wear your Santa hats and ugly Christmas sweaters...and get ready to have have some FUN!

- See photos for deck layout (where FGC swimmers are assigned on deck and where FGC spectators are assigned). There will be markers to show each team’s area. Tents/canopies may be set up after 6pm Friday 7/21. Please communicate with one another to have enough shade available for our spectators. Swimmers may want to bring a bag chair or extra towel on deck to sit on.

-PARKING note from Warwick: we will fill the gravel lot to the south of the pool first, then the grove, then park along Burning Tree Dr. Warwick will have golf carts shuttling along Burning Tree. We will help guide parking; please be mindful of residents' yards. Full lots will be signed.

-See photos for Food Menu and pricing list. Families may bring light breakfast items and water only--outside food spreads and alcohol are prohibited. Warwick is our host club and we are invited to support their food/bev services (as they do for us when we host). The concessions open at 10am, so you may send breakfast snacks, etc. to tide swimmers over during the morning hours. Please make sure your child has plenty of water. It is going to be a long day in the sun!

REMINDER: absolutely NO suits or caps from other teams/clubs (meaning they can not have a logo from another team on them) and NO tie-back suits. Swimmers will be disqualified immediately, and the Interclub Board takes this very seriously. Fastskin/tech suits are permitted for any age group, but traditional team suits are perfectly fine to wear.

Programs ($5 last year, likely similar) and Bag Tags ($5, with swimmer name added) will be available for sale at the meet. See map for location to purchase these items.

It's been hard for OLY Swimming to be hundreds of miles away from Ethan, and not be able to help the family and Ethan with his care. But, what we've realized in the past few days is that Ethan is not just a part of the OLY family--he's a member of the swim community family too!

We wanted to thank some of the folks in Ohio, who have stepped up and contributed to the care of Ethan and his family: Central Ohio Swimming Association, Upper Arlington Swim Club, New Albany Aquatics Club, and Ohio State Buckeyes Swimming and Diving.

Locally, in Michigan, Ethan's summer swim club, Flint Elks Swim Team has organized a Venmo to collect money for the family: -elks

Finally, we wanted to let you know that Ethan continues to show significant improvement. He is a resilient young man, and we are thankful for the medical professionals who are providing him with top-notch care.

We know that we cannot personally thank each and every person/team/organization, but please know that we are grateful for all of the outpouring of love and support of Ethan. The swim community is the best community in the world.

Dear Swim Community

We wanted to thank every single one of you who offered our swimmer and our OLY Swim family your thoughts and prayers over the past couple of days. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of spirit from the swim community, and we truly cannot thank you enough.

Earlier today, we received word from the family that while Ethan will remain in the ICU for the time-being, he is responding to treatment and is making progress!

As we move forward, we ask that you continue to keep Ethan, Ethan’s family, our OLY Swimming family, and anyone else impacted by this emergency in your thoughts and prayers.

You may have heard that an OLY swimmer was involved in a medical emergency at the Sectional meet at Sunday finals, in Columbus, OH.

We can confirm that a member of our OLY family was involved but that is all we are confirming at this time.

We are grateful for the lifeguards, medical staff, and OSU Natatorium staff who helped during this emergency.

We ask that you continue to keep our OLY family in your thoughts and prayers.
