I think we all need to work at being mentally healthy and supporting those around us to do the same.
Mental Health Saturday:
Did you know 1 in 4 of us struggle with mental health issues? The world needs to increase everyone's knowledge and level of comfortableness with mental health. Talk about it!!! This is one way each of us can make a difference. Create small conversations that open up a channel to invite more discussion. It may feel awkward but it's important! Here's a few questions that could spark a discussion:
Do you think there is a stigma about mental health in our society?
Do you think society sees mental and physical health differently?
Should it be that way?
Do you think when celebrities talk about their own mental health challenges that it is beneficial in breaking down social stigmas?
On a scale of 1-10 what would you score your average mental health?
