You know stretching is important, but why? Taking the time to stretch after a workout keeps your muscles flexible and improves the range of motion of your joints. This means less injury, more mobility and even better performance. Don't skip your stretch. You'll thank yourself later.

As a runner, Extended Hand to Big Toe Pose has a soft spot in my heart. The challenge of balancing while lifting and stretching makes this pose "fun".

Every time I teach Wide Legged Forward Fold, I always take a pause and cue a gentle hip wiggle. This pause gives you a moment to catch your breath and release tension you may be holding in your upper body. Try it out!
