On Friday, we delivered five more beds to kids that did not have one. As we were delivering two sets of bunk beds, we heard the guardian tell the kids that these were their Christmas gifts! We were so proud to be able to provide warmth, comfort, and a gift that will last years.

We have experienced a surge in applications over the past month. We have over 300 beds being requested from us! Who knew the need was so great here.

Please, consider sponsoring a build day in 2024 so we can build beds for these deserving children. We also need new twin size bedding, pillows, and monetary donations. We want to provide more Christmas cheer!

Homelessness comes in many forms, and that was certainly true for David. For a long time, David relied on his mother for support, and when she passed away suddenly, he was faced with many difficult decisions, including where to live. David moved in with his sister for a short period, but found the chaotic nature of many nieces and nephews to be a struggle while he attended outpatient treatment and battled the weight of his mother’s passing. David decided on a stay at Rivendell Behavioral Health to get his alcoholism under control, and that is where he learned about Our House. While David waited for a bed to become available, he sold some of his personal belongings to afford a hotel room, and when that ran out, he was forced to sleep in his car for the first time. The next morning, David was able to check into the Shelter at the perfect time. David immediately dedicated himself to working in the Career Center every day to find a job. “I had the drive to find something quick,” David says. “I built a great rapport with the staff, and when I was anxiously searching, they were able to calm me down and say ‘you got this.’” Read more about David's time at Our House ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/57e6f7av

We are excited to announce the promotion! This year for the months of August & September, we're giving a portion of our sales to Jonesboro Helping Neighbors Food Pantry! Helping Neighbors is a wonderful non-profit organization that provides food assistance to those in need.

With their move to their new Highland location, they've received a lot more traffic, which means more people are able to be assisted! However, their facilities need either fixing or upgrading to help run this incredible charity at a better capacity.

Come shop with us and support Jonesboro Helping Neighbors Food Pantry!

{Get 30% off rugs, furniture, home decor, and more! Also, take advantage of our Golden Opportunity sale! Where selected items have been marked BELOW 50% off!}

What are boundaries??
Boundaries are the limits you set around your body, physical space, emotions, financial information, digital presence, and how others treat you.
When communicating a boundary, you're expressing how you want and expect to be treated.
